agt_spookyAbout a week ago I mentioned that I'd been to the Lizzadro Museum of Lapidary Art. Finally sat down over the weekend and went through my photos of the pretty, pretty rocks and jade and thought I'd share a few with those of you rock geeks like me. :-)
I really got a laugh out of this one:
Should I be offended that I'm the oldest rock on earth?? LOL! Then again, I'm apparently from Canada, so I'm cool with that. :-)
This is a piece of petrified wood that looked so much like a butterfly the curators added a body and antenna to it:
Various lapidary materials. The colors are just stunning:
Bacon and eggs, anyone? Yep, it's all made out of rocks:
