Jul. 17th, 2013 05:49 pmComic-Con 2013: Jared Padalecki and Jensen Ackles take off with
the 'Supernatural' bag/cape

In order to take on Comic-Con's massive Hall H again for the "Supernatural" panel this weekend, the series' stars are getting in touch with their inner superheroes.
Jared Padalecki and Jensen Ackles decided to model the Warner Bros. official Comic-Con backpack and cape -- the "Supernatural" themed one, of course. If you're heading down to San Diego this weekend for the convention, you can get your own bag with cape for free, though we doubt anyone will look as good with it on as these two demon hunters.
Production on Season 9 of the hit CW series has just started, though it will pause this weekend for the big "Supernatural" Comic-Con panel on Sunday (July 21). The series returns on October 15, 2013, airing on a new day: Tuesdays at 9 p.m. ET on The CW.

Too freaking hysterical!! Kudos to Jensen and Jared for having fun with this and for giving us a priceless picture. :-)
Shake it, Jensen!

So I finally sat down last night and really watched it...
First, now I know I'm old, because I didn't even understand what this whole Harlem Shake thing was even about. I had to Google it! Ahh...now I get it. Kinda...[scratches head]
Anyway, in the end who cares what this fad is about. What's important is - this was all Jensen's idea and he looks so freaking cute doing his funky little dance move at the beginning I can't stand it! I could watch that first 15 seconds on an endless loop.
I love it that so many of the cast and crew took part but bonus points to Osric, rolling around on the cold, wet ground in that body bag. Ha! And honorable mention to the giant teddy bear from Wishful Thinking. That was brilliant. :-)
While I give Guy Bee props for using an overhead crane to shoot this (I heard the helicopter was booked *g*) my only gripe is that it was too high up! I wanted a closer look at everyone!
Ok,

P.S. - speaking of Jensen, since we got our income tax refund the other day I decided to splurge and treat myself to a photo op ticket with him for the Chicago convention. Haven't had, or been able to afford one, with him since Vancouver 2009. I think I'm due for another hug. *g*
From Zap2It.com:
'MacGyver' revival in the works: Paging Jared Padalecki (and his hair)

"Saw" franchise director James Wan has confirmed that he's in talks to direct a film revival of the classic '80s TV series "MacGyver," about an incredibly resourceful detective who delighted audiences by fashioning everyday objects into weapons and devices that allowed him to escape from dangerous situations.
"People are surprised??" Wan tweeted when the news hit via THR. "You guys never saw shades of MacG in Jigsaw??" Indeed, Jigsaw was resourceful... though, with much more nefarious intent.
Jason Richman, Brian Gunn, and Mark Gunn have collaborated on the script for the feature film. As of now, there's no word on who will play MacGyver, or whether the now 63-year-old Richard Dean Anderson will reprise the role or cameo in the film.
If we might make a suggestion... "Supernatural's" Jared Padalecki played MacGyver's nephew, Clay, in a 2003 pilot called "Young MacGyver." A decade later, he's totally got the hair to pull off Not-As-Young MacGyver. Just saying.
Jared Padalecki answers fan questions
Mar. 16th, 2012 05:37 pmSupernatural: Jared Padalecki Answers Fan Questions
At the recent TCA presentation, The CW created "CW Connect" segments for many of its stars in attendance, including Jared Padalecki from Supernatural.
Padalecki took the opportunity to answer a few fan questions, including whether he prefers emo Sam to Soulless Sam. and explain the craziest stunt they've ever done (hint: it was from season 4!). As usual, Padalecki does that adorable "rambling with extraneous details" thing that he tends to do. And what about his funniest moment on the show? How could you possibly choose with a hilarious show like Supernatural?!
Supernatural returns from a multi-week hiatus with a brand new episode tonight at 9/8c on The CW. Check out a sneak peek, trailer and producer's preview for the episode.
You can watch Padalecki's "CW Connect" segment below. Also, we've included a clip with behind the scenes outtakes from his trip to the TV Guide tent and photo-shoot from TCA. And make sure to browse through our new Supernatural showpage - all of the clips, photos, spoilers, recaps and information about the show on one convenient page!
Kris Polaha, Wilson Bethel, Jared Padalecki, Ed Westwick, Joseph Morgan and Shane West appeared before reporters at the Television Critics Assoc. press tour on Thursday.

The boys of the CW took the stage at the Television Critics Assoc. press tour for the "Badass Boys of the CW" panel, and as expected, the session provided some notable quotes.
"Badass" — and different versions of the word — became the choice term for Kris Polaha (Ringer), Wilson Bethel (Hart of Dixie), Jared Padalecki (Supernatural), Ed Westwick (Gossip Girl), Joseph Morgan (The Vampire Diaries) and Shane West (Nikita), after CW chief Mark Pedowitz lobbed himself into the mix as a joke.
Here are 10 of the funniest and most revealing quotes:
1. Padalecki: "You're all familiar with the standardized badass test?"
6. Padalecki, on Supernatural: "We have no boundaries ... I've been to hell, I've been Lucifer. ... We also have a forgiving fanbase. It's like a vaudeville act, and they forgive us. That and the hair."
Honorable mentions:
- Padalecki, on why co-star Jensen Ackles is not on the session: "He totally should. It's all relative. I flew down from Vancouver ... the only reason why I could come down is because Jensen's working."
Polaha: "In a fight, who would win ...? ... Ladies and gentleman, please welcome Jensen Ackles!"
Rest in peace, Harley

I was so saddened to read on Jared's twitter that his beloved Harley lost his battle with cancer over the weekend. Like many others, I sent Jared a reply, telling him that our animals are more than just pets, they're a part of our family and losing a family member is never easy. I remember back in season two, during the filming of Heart, when Sam breaks down before he has to kill Madison - Jared said that in order to get into that frame of mind, to start the tears, that he pictured losing one of his dogs. It breaks my heart to know that's now come true. I hope Jared takes comfort in knowing that he gave Harley a great life and that he's now pain free, romping and playing up in doggie heaven.
I'm glad that I gave Harley a starring role in my story Shadows in His Eyes, where he'll always live on as a hero dog. :-)
There's something about that look...

There's just something about the way Jensen is looking at Jared that I love. Kinda cool that I happened to capture that moment without even trying!
Although my seat is much farther back than normal this year (I have Silver, not Gold) I'm still hoping to get some good video this weekend. I have a feeling the Mark Pellegrino/Sebastian Roche panel is going to be off the hook! LOL!
Talk to y'all Monday!
