agt_spookyOk, now that was NOT the way I wanted to wake up this morning! A magnitude 4.3 EARTHQUAKE hit Chicago at exactly 4 am this morning!
John and I were fast asleep and all of a sudden the whole house was shaking! And I mean REALLY shaking. It scared the crap out of both of us, that's for sure.
This is the second quake to hit Chicago in only a few years. Before that there hadn't been one since I was in high school.
So yeah, that was a very strange wake up call. :-)

Date: 2010-02-10 02:12 pm (UTC)I know how scary that is when you are sound asleep and all of a sudden it's like a train is driving thru your bedroom. We had 2 minor earthquakes last year as we live in an earthquake zone here and it startles me everytime.
