Exclusive: Supernatural Hunk Calls Off Engagement
Jared Padalecki won't be walking down the aisle anytime soon!
Star has learned exclusively that in early June the Supernatural star called off his engagement with his longtime girlfriend actress Sandra McCoy. The two became engaged in March.
"Now that Jared is starring in his first big film —the horror movie Friday the 13th — he's starting to see that his career could really take off and he doesn't want a wife to hold him back from becoming a major star," an insider tells Star. "It's as simple as that."
"He's really ambitious and wants to be very successful. He's been telling everyone, 'There's more to life than relationships and I want to be single.'"
The news came as a shock to Sandra, says the source, who now has to move out of Jared's L.A. house, where she has been residing for the past year.
"Sandra is devastated," says the source. "She really didn't see it coming. She has to start her whole life over again because she was always so focused on Jared. He was her world."

Yeah, if she was so "devastated" why didn't she just come right out and blast him right after the announcement was made?
but it seems that so many people are out to make him seem like an ass.
And why?? I mean, my god, not only has he been nice to every fan that's ever approached him, but look at all the people who actually work on the SPN set that have nothing but praise for him.
If he took the time to step back and realize he may not be ready, I am glad he was adult enough to do it before the wedding.
Yep, absolutely. And who knows, it could've been Sandy that called it off. Both of them just said that they're no longer engaged. Neither said they were the one to call it off.
