agt_spooky: (Doctor Who-Tennant)
Hey all, happy Friday!

Sorry I haven't been around for the last several days. Lots of stressful things going on at work that has just drained all of my energy. Thankfully it's over now so hopefully things can get back to normal.

Been watching Doctor Who at night to take my mind off things. I've seen the first three episodes with Ten and Donna, and I have to admit she's made a vast improvement since the Runaway Bride episode. I've seen Partners in Crime, The Fires of Pompeii and Planet of the Ood. The last two were actually really emotional! And yep, you guys were right - Donna doesn't take any of the Doctor's crap. :-) I'm finding it amusing that everyone they meet thinks they're married!

Oh, and was that Peter Capaldi in Pompeii? Isn't he the new Doctor??

Many thanks to [livejournal.com profile] allydenise for telling me about David Tennant in Casanova! Took me ages to find download links but it was so worth it. Just look at him! LOL!

I've only seen the first of three parts but I'm absolutely loving it. Especially when he thinks he's fallen for a man and after first trying to dismiss it he ends up giving into his feelings and kissing him. HOT! Granted, it turned out the man was really a woman in disguise but he didn't know that.

In my search for the Casanova downloads I came across a Tumblr account all about David with a zillion download links to a bunch of stuff he's done. Sweet!

Have a great weekend, everyone!

I'm happy to report that LuLu contacted Apple and told them that they had mis-categorized my book Out of the Shadows and as of yesterday afternoon it's in the correct category of "Romance". It's absolutely ridiculous that there is no "Gay Romance" sub-category. They've got "Contemporary", "Western", "Fantasy", "Historical" and "Suspense".

But despite Apple's best efforts to hide gay romance, it's where I made my first sale yesterday! LOL!

Not quite sure how someone found Out of the Shadows, but I'm glad they did. :-)

Also found out yesterday that it's been accepted into the NOOK store as well and the listing should be up in the next few days.

I'm holding off on posting all of the Buy Links until I've got all my ducks in a row. Still waiting to hear from LuLu about their new partnership with Amazon. I was all set to publish it there myself but if I can have all my revenue coming from one place it would be so much easier.

Now I'm off to work on the new cover for Burnin' for You so I can get that self-published, too!

Just put my application in to be an extra on the "pilot" episode of Supernatural: Bloodlines, which will be filming here in Chicago on March 24-27th.

It's a one in a million shot I'll get picked so I'm not getting my hopes up. But now I know what casting company they're using so I'm following their twitter for filming locations so maybe I can at least watch from the sidewalk.

Wish me luck!
