SPN season finale - to freak out or not to freak out - that is the question

I know I said my LJ was going to be a spoiler free zone specifically for the two-part season finale, and it's still going to be, but I have to ask a question.

I've seen just general comments about the spoilers that have been released. No one's given away anything that's in front of a cut, but people seem to be completely and totally freaking out and not really in a good way. And it's really making me nervous and making my willpower start to crumble.

I can't give in! I can't! So I'm asking you, those of you who have read the spoilers - is fandom in general going to hate the finale because of what spoilers have been released so far - or is everyone freaking out for nothing? What's your opinion? Can you put my mind at ease or should I be worried?

OMG! OMG! Do they HUG??

Well, I hope so, but the picture is of a place, not a person or persons. And the place is in a much . . . degraded condition than when we last saw it. And you won't be upset by it. In fact, I am pretty sure you will be cheering!

Heck yeah, especially if from what I've heard here today, that Kim is the one directing this episode, so the spoiler HAS to be from ep. 22, as Kim said in the interview today that he directs the first and last eps of the season. Rats! I was hoping to only have to wait a week, not months, to see the resolution to whatever happens!

See, I'm thinking that something happens in Ep. 21 that then carries over to Kim's episode. I say this mainly because Kripke has said that there won't be a big cliffhanger, and I'm holding him to that. I hate cliffhangers, have ever since a certain cliffhanger I know you are very familiar with, Barb! And the little spoiler I mentioned above from the Jensen interview fits with this scenario (along with something that one of the folks who went to the SPN set mentioned seeing Jared wearing in an early report), so I am going with it. I just can't let myself worry about this for the next 5-6 weeks - I will drive myself crazy!

I've said this before, but I will say it again. I've been very spoiled for a number of episodes this year, and each time the episode turns out to be completely different than the way I expected it would be. But I am still going to stay strong and try not to be spoiled - if you can hold out, Barb, I can.

I absolutely remember him saying that as well. And you know I hate cliffhangers for the same reason you do, Deborah! So at this point I'm still confused as to what episode this spoiler takes place in, but I'm going to hold Eric to his word as well!

I just can't let myself worry about this for the next 5-6 weeks - I will drive myself crazy!

LOL! Man, I never should've asked this question here today, because I was doing SO good up until this point, skipping right past spoiler stuff with no problem. But I felt my armor beginning to crack. And instead of feeling more at ease, it's really starting to crumble after everyone's answers!

I'm gonna do it, Deborah! It's gonna be damn hard, but I think the payoff for not being spoiled for just these two episodes will pay off. Especially since it sounds so intense. I want to be taken by surprise just this once. :-)

Yep, I don't know what happened to it, or how, but they won't be making any future visits to that Roadhouse. And I can't tell you how happy that makes me. I'm hoping that Dean figures out who Gordon's connection was and cleans house.

No freaking way!! Good lord, we’d all been hoping that it gets blown up or something. Has Kripke been listening?? Did he finally realize that the Roadhouse concept just wasn’t working??

And oh yeah, I’d LOVE to see Dean storm in there and just raze the place. I’m hoping that whatever happens there is because we are finally going to find out who the “mole” is.

Oh yeah, Blair lying dead on the grass will always be the ultimate cliffhanger. Unless they leave Sam or Dean lying dead on the grass somewhere. ;-)

I’m really hanging on to that. I mean, there’s so many plot things that are just hanging out there right now, and to me, having answers and resolving some things would be the perfect season finale, leaving the door open for new things next season.
