The weekend wrap-up

Is it Monday again? Already? Ugh. So wasn't ready for the alarm clock to go off this morning.

Had a busy weekend! Spent a couple of hours on Saturday gathering up all the gifts, getting out the paper and bows and tags and then wrapping all the Hanukkah and Christmas presents. Quite the pile, eh?

On Sunday the hubby and I spent the afternoon and most of the evening over at my best buddy charityflint's house for our annual Christmas party. Charity cooked up a delicious meal of glazed ham, carrots and a potato casserole. Yum! After we ate we exchanged gifts and among other things I got the first season of Hawaii Five-0 and Almost Human DVDs. Yay! Charity has a gorgeous Christmas tree and I got a photo of the two of us in front of it.

Because my birthday is so close to Christmas we celebrate it at the same time when the four of us get together. Check out the amazing birthday cake Charity made for me. It's two layers of chocolate cake with whipped cream, raspberries and Nutella in the middle, plus more whipped cream and raspberries on top. OMG, SO GOOD.

All in all it was a really lovely evening spent with friends sharing the holiday spirit. :-)

Gosh I haven´t bougth the presents and its already Dec 15th, I have just 1 present and the dollar is going up and up!

I love wrapping presents, too! And so many people hate it! I can't understand why. It's fun! I put on Christmas music and just go to town. I wish I had more to wrap!

That cake was amazing. I had another piece last night.

Uh-oh, you're a little behind in your shopping, eh? I had everything done by about December 1st. :-)
