Hey all!
Did everyone have a good weekend? The hubby and I spent Saturday dragging out all of the Christmas and Hanukkah decorations from the garage, then putting up our nearly 10 ft. tall tree. Yes, my Jewish husband had to have the biggest Christmas tree he could find. :-) And we have to move most of the furniture in the living room to accomodate it!
Spent Sunday decorating said tree and putting up a few other things. Hopefully we'll have the house all done by the end of the week. It always looks interesting with the Christmas and Hanukkah things combined. :-)
Holiday cards are in the mail! Wow, I didn't realize that forty-five of you signed up until I started printing out the cards! :-) Oh, yeah, I know that the back of the card is printed upside down. That's what happens when you hit "print" and walk out of the room! LOL!
I took the weekend off the computer, so I missed Jared being all adorable with a puppy and then Jared showing off his manly muscles on the set of Friday the 13th. HOLY COW, JARED! He said in an interview that he doesn't take his shirt off in the movie, so many thanks for this behind the scenes shot. But you've GOT to wonder how that photo came to be! LOL!

I received some completely unexpected and thrilling news yesterday that I've been nominated for a Salt and Burn award! Many thanks to whomever sent in my story for consideration!!
I've been nominated in the Canon category, and when I found out what story it was for I nearly fell over:
Never Forget by agt_spooky
GEN
Word count: 2,726
Summary: An epiloge to The Benders. Dean’s more hurt than he lets on and Sam takes care of him.
Written: February 17, 2006
I mean, wow, that story is going on three years old! And I've only ever written three gen stories, too, so that really surprised me, that that's the story that got nominated. But of the three gen ones that I've written, this one's my favorite. :-)
Judging starts today, so wish me luck!
In other news, check out my brand new default icon, designed by my good friend,
dairwendan, who gifted me with this one, and several others, from my Christmas Wish List. Thank you, sweetie, you're the best!
Ok, gotta run. Everyone have a good Monday!
