The weekend wrap-up

agt_spookyUgh. Another Monday. This is gonna be a long week for me I'm sure, as it's my first full week back from vacation.
Did you know that Friday was National Cheese Pizza Day? I didn't until I got a coupon emailed to me from Pizza Hut for $7.00 for a large. Needless to say, John and I treated ourselves. Yum!
I was a complete slug on Saturday. I think I was suffering from delayed sleep depravation from DragonCon. I slept in til 9:00 am, which for me is unheard of. Laid around watching TV and then I took a 2 hour nap! LOL! Yeah, that was a completely wasted day, but I felt really refreshed on Sunday.
John and I went off to my comic book store on Sunday. Very sad that after reading Star Wars comics for 20 years from Dark Horse these were the last issues. Since Disney is now in charge and they've got a deal with Marvel, the books will be produced from them from now on. I'm really worried the content is going to suffer. :-(
We had lunch at Village Tavern which turned out to be really bad timing. The Bears game was just getting ready to start and the place was packed and SO loud. We should've left but we enjoy the food so we stayed. John wanted cider donuts from Country Donuts since it's that time of year so we made a pit stop on the way home. Me, I got a red velvet and a maple. Yum!
The weather was absolutely beautiful so we took a walk around the lake. I finally remembered to bring my camera to take a few pics to show all of you what's just outside my front door:
This is the actual view from my living room window. Peaceful, isn't it?

While that area is technically "public" space no one would ever sit down there and have a picnic or anything. There are lots of other wide open spaces on the other side of the lake where there aren't any houses that people use for that sort of thing.

well honestly, I didn't do almost anything, since last weekend they had to open my wound cuase aparntly I had reactios towards some stitches, well the thread, but this time the procedure was in the doctor office, and it was like 30 min,, but the doctor told me to try to not sweat, cause since the surgery is in the armpit, it;s most easily to have reactions.
btw did you see the video from the DVD Supernatural "Mockumentary" (from a fan's perspective)? OMG so funny isn't?

Yes! I saw the "Mockumentary" just yesterday! I loved how everyone was afraid of Jared. [snort] And his wig! LOL! Jensen doing yoga then getting caught eating tofu. Ha! It was all fantastic. But man, with their schedules how did they have time to film this??

But, yeah, a girl that attended Jared's meet and greet on New Jersey Con, said that Jared made the comment they live like 1/2 a mile apart in Austin.
