Finally some good news!

After my crap-tastic weekend things took a turn for the better yesterday. It's been raining money! LOL!

First, all of the money we spent on the furniture was refunded to our credit card. But since I'd already made a payment, we now have a $140 credit. John and I will be treating ourselves to dinner at our favorite French restaurant. We never did get to go out for our 20th anniversary back in June, so this will be a delayed celebration.

Second, we won the pick three lottery again! This is actually the fourth time since we started playing. Another $80.00 yesterday. Woot!

And third, our $300 Visa gift card arrived from AT&T. We got it for transferring our service when we moved last month. This is perfect as it will pay for my hotel stay, photo ops and autographs at the Stargate convention I'm going to tomorrow.

Then I took out my bag of change from my dresser drawer and I figure I've got about $75.00 in there. Going to be heading to the bank to turn that in so that I've got some extra spending money for DragonCon in two weeks.

So yeah, money everywhere lately! And that's certainly not a bad thing at all. :-)
