Finally something to smile about

After the immense amount of crap Life has been handing me for weeks on end, it was nice to get some good news last night. Got my first quarter statement from Dreamspinner and I sold another 147 books! Made enough money to pay for my registration and hotel for the RWA Spring Fling writers conference I'm going to this weekend. Perfect timing!

And then my boss just emailed and said he's taking the day off. Score!

Now that's the way to start my three day weekend. :-)

Congrats on your sale of your books!! Maybe, some day, I'll get off my ass and try to get something published. Oh, but I need to actually FINISH something first, LOL!

Did you see my RWA post yesterday? Was a lot of fun! Very happy that all of the people I met were very open minded and accepting of someone who writes very different stories from them.

See every once in a while good things descend on you. Congrats on selling
so many stories. And yea for 'gone boss'. Of course nice weather always lifts my spirits. Sat by a fountain the other day, with a good book and a soda. Love this time of year.
