Break out the latkes, it's time for Hanukkah!

For the first time in 125 years, Hanukkah falls before Thanksgiving. I can't believe I'm putting out the menorah before the turkey! LOL!

For those of you, like myself and my husband John, who will be celebrating Hanukkah starting tonight...

Blessed are You, O Lord, our God, King of the universe, who has sanctified us
with His commandments and has commanded us to kindle the Hanukkah light.

who wrought miracles for our forefathers, in those days at this season.

who has kept us alive, sustained us and brought us to this season.
