Bring me some pie!

Caught a show on Cooking channel last night that Dean Winchester would have highly approved of:

I'm telling you, there NEEDS to be an ep of SPN where the boys investigate a haunted pie shop. And it should be in Seattle, according to this show. They've got tons of 'em! :-)

Date: 2013-11-05 10:31 pm (UTC)I'm totally waiting for tonight's episode, although I know it could turn out terrible wrong,,, but if they do it right it could be a good episode,
I just want to see a good comedy episode,, I really miss the good episodes of Supernatural,, and I know you probably aren't waiting for today's episode, I remember you said you didn't like Yellow fever, and this episode kind of looks like that one...
But I hope they do it right!

Date: 2013-11-07 02:06 am (UTC)Well, now that we’ve seen it - it wasn’t nearly as bad as Yellow Fever, but I actually had to look away from the screen during the part with the cats. That disturbed me and I couldn’t watch that. There were some funny parts, though. I’m just glad that Dean wasn’t acting as stupid as he did in Yellow Fever. The dog was so cute! And Sam rubbing the other one’s belly? Yeah, that was funny. Oh and the part with the bird on the lightpole. Ha! It was kinda sad at the end, you could tell that Dean wanted to take the dog with him. Overall not the funniest episode (I like Hell House and Changing Channels the most) but not horrible either.
What did you think?

Dean was funny and adorable in some scenes, I liked when he kept giving back the napking to Sam, and when he was yelling to the mailman,, and when he didn't want to leave alone the dog in the car....I found that cute cause in the episode 8.01 he said there was a rule "no dogs in the car" ,and now he was taking care of him.
And Dean releasing the dogs from the shelter, that's something Dean would do.
I think Jensen did a great job with the script he received,,something I think a lot of actors couldn't have done with a script like that.
but I totally DISLIKED the scene of Dean with the Poodle
and well it was Dean centric, finally!!! so I liked it,,, I liked the scene with the Pigeon too and Dean almost shooting him,, and the rats were funny too, I liked their voices, not the dogs voices, justs the rats's voices.
I loved the montage they did in the beginning of the episode,,
cheebles wrote this and I think she nailed it
"I know this was supposed to be a comedic episode. I know that because the intro montage showed us moments from Changing Channels, Yellow Fever, and other classic comedic episodes, so we wouldn’t think they were being serious when Dean barked at the mail carrier or hung his head out the car window. They were reminding us of how the show used to be funny when it was funny."
And well Zeke, always to the rescue huh? LOL,, how many times has he revived Sam? I think three rigth? and 1 Cass and 1 Charlie ,, How they handled it without him for 8 seasons? and seriously I was kind of dissapointed that Sam didn't confront Dean about having his throat slashed and then cured... or at least about his shirt covered in blood and not wound...I mean I would at least had asked why my blouse was stained, but well that's just me...
Oh and I didn't like the poodle scene, I know I already told you, but its because I really hated it.
so yes, I liked some scenes :)

I forgot about that one! It was so subtle at first you had to realize he was playing fetch. :-)
And Dean releasing the dogs from the shelter, that's something Dean would do.
Yes! At first he seemed to not care about what each dog was saying, so I loved that he let them all go. A softie, indeed!
I think Jensen did a great job with the script he received,,something I think a lot of actors couldn't have done with a script like that.
I couldn’t agree more.
but I totally DISLIKED the scene of Dean with the Poodle
You’re not the only one to say that!
and well it was Dean centric, finally!!! so I liked it,
Yeah, but why did it have to be a stupid “comedy” episode? Why can’t a Dean-centric one be serious?
I liked their voices, not the dogs voices, justs the rats's voices.
Did you see Jared’s tweets? He hated the voices, too!
They were reminding us of how the show used to be funny when it was funny
I’ve also heard that same comment from several people. They’re hitting us over the head with the fact that WE MUST FIND THIS FUNNY BECAUSE WE’RE TELLING YOU IT IS. Sorry, but it missed the mark for the most part.
And well Zeke, always to the rescue huh? LOL,, how many times has he revived Sam? I think three rigth? and 1 Cass and 1 Charlie ,, How they handled it without him for 8 seasons?
I disliked that part. It’s like they forced it into the episode for no reason, since Sam said nothing about it afterwards. And I’m tired of Zeke always coming to the rescue. They’re waaay overdoing it.
