Aww, bummer. That was my last Creation con. Been doing these since 2007. Time to do something new. Next year is (hopefully) AECON2 in Germany and then DragonCon in Atlanta.

DragonCon sounds great and I may try that, too. In addition to VanCon next year, the only other SPN con I really want to go to is Crossroads Con in Moscow. Some friends and I are thinking of trying to meet up there. I'll definitely be going to WonderCon, too -- but SPN is not likely to have a panel there.

I'd love to try the European cons, but they seem so complicated and sell out so quickly. I am sure I could pick up last minute tickets, but I am not a spontaneous traveler. I usually buy my plane tickets 6 months in advance and have to know where I am staying before I go anywhere.

Wow, Moscow? Now that would be an adventure! Funny you mention Moscow, as a gal I was in Sebastian’s M&G with was from there.

My friend just got back from DragonCon and she had a blast. There were four SPN panels and I guess they were all a hoot.

The European ones are definitely difficult. And for most of them there is no assigned seating. I don’t really feel like getting in line at 4 am each day to try and get a seat anywhere near the stage, you know?

Well, I don't remember if Sasha said she was in Sebastian's M&G or not, but she may have been. She was my roommate at Vancon, is from Moscow, went on the Haiti trip with us and is staying with me this Friday. Visiting her would be one of the reasons for going to the Con there.

Sasha! That was her! She made mention that she was on the Haiti trip and I saw her walk up on stage. Speaking of which, does that mean you were on stage, too? You need to tell me what you look like so I can go back and check my video. :-)

Do you mean the karaoke vid or the Divine panel vid? I hid in the back of the karaoke and I don't think I can be spotted (yay) and in the Divine panel, I come on stage at the end. I had to go put some stuff in my room so I left after episode preview and returned after Misha had made his speech. I had no idea he was going to do that and unfortunately, was spotted coming in and had to go up on stage. It's not that I mind the acknowledgment -- that was nice of him -- it just made me feel uncomfortable. I wish he would have acknowledged all the people at the Con who contributed to that fundraising.
