Hey guys! Hello from Canada! Been wanting to post for the last couple of days, but while the 2400 Motel says it has internet it pretty much only works for 45 seconds at a time.

So it's been a busy few days up here with [livejournal.com profile] charityflint and [livejournal.com profile] hollylyn1217 and we're having a BLAST! We went to see the Olympic cauldron, the huge Inukshuk at the coast, went shopping on Grandville Island (in the rain), went on a spectacular sunset harbor cruise and went to the Britannia Mining museum. Today we're off to Grouse Mountain where I'm going to go zip lining (woot!) and then we're off to Capilano Suspension bridge with the new Cliffwalk. Should be loads of fun!

Here are some photos!

Britannia Mining museum. Who remembers this from the X-Files episode Paper Clip??

I'm getting ready to head down into the mine:

Off to work!

Panning for gold. I found squat! LOL!

And that's it for now, folks! Hopefully more tomorrow after our adventures today!

like you are a millionaire! You are having so much fun, going to so much places! me? when I got there, I just afford to go to capilano and that's it. The rest in whistler but there just in a few places, I think I just pay for one. hahaha the rest were cascades. (A deep sigh) looks like that being american is great when your currency is almost like the currency of the country above of yours. I really envy you that you can go to those beautiful places. But, also I envy you that you have two great friend that are always at your side in every moment and they help you to make your happy moments greater than they would be

Ooh, in all the times I've been to Canada I've never gone to Whistler. I bet it's beautiful up there.

Actually, the exchange rate pretty much sucked. This was the first time since the mid 1990's that I actually lost money when traveling to Vancouver.

I really am lucky to have such great friends who also love to travel and go on adventures with me. :-)

Really?

.---Well,as you have gone to so much places, maybe it is not that good as those ones you have gone. But, it is full of tree and full of waterfalls but, nothing extraordinary
