More Supernatural for season seven

Looks like Supernatural just got super-sized! Seems the new head of CW is already doing a better job than Dawn Ostroff ever did!

CW orders more 'Gossip Girl,' '90210,' 'Supernatural'

The CW is bulking up its orders of four next season. The network has picked up two more episodes of Gossip Girl and 90210, the network confirmed, plus one episode each of Supernatural and Nikita. (Nope, no more Vampire Diaries).

The reason: You know how you get frustrated with all those repeats The CW airs in midseason? Well, so does The CW. The orders bring Gossip and 90210 to 24 episodes each and Supernatural and Nikita to 23.

I think you current mood sums it up lol I am very impressed the CW did that especially since they seem to love leaving Supernatural in the mud in favor of their newer, teenybopper shows they have. This may mean we can have some hope over a season 8? If CW still has interest in the show

I know, right? Normally they just cut episodes from a show, not add them. I like this new guy so far. :-) And I saw a tweet today from the TCA meetings and they said that they’re not intending for this to be the final season of SPN.

'Supernatural' final season? Not quite...

The CW’s new president isn’t thinking this will be Supernatural‘s final season.

Despite being in its seventh year and getting shifted to Fridays last season, the network’s new chief Mark Pedowitz seems fairly optimistic about the show’s chances. “It’s not intended to be the last season,” he told critics at their press tour in Beverly Hills. “We will see where the ratings go. I personally hope, and I think we all at The CW hope, that this show keeps on going. So at the moment we look at one season at a time.”

Asked why the show has lasted so long, Pedowitz replied: “It’s not about the demon of the week. It’s about the love of two brothers and these two really good looking guys. And I think that transcends the supernatural piece at the end of the day.”

Hey Deborah! I did see this! I really had to laugh at his comment about the “good looking guys”. At least that proves he’s seen the show. :-) But good to know he’s not looking to axe SPN right away.

Look, when I saw that, I was like what?! one more trash episode? But, later, I thought, why Vampire diaries not? Well, in another article said it all. The executive producer, said that he prefer do great 22 episode than 23 good episodes. see? it is not the quantity the quality is what worth!

Some times is has episodes that there is nothing good on it. specially does where stefan and elena are showing their love yikes! terrible boring! or things that are useless for example, tha last season, why put the bad guy on alaric's body. just because the body was elsewhere and it was being bringing to there? what about vampire full speed? it took three days to them to bring that body?! hahahaha just showing alaric with the bad vampire soul was a waste of time. But, the plot is always good. some times there are too much things that they are stretching it and later don't know how to end it. And there were one thing but I don't remember which one, that they never told us that someone told bonnie about something, just they show us that bonnie alredy know it. I think it was a big mistake. But, I can't remember what scene!!! grrr
