Another photo victory!

I have more good news on the photography front!

Last week my awesome hubby found out that our largest local newspaper runs a Photo of the Week contest on their website. The finalists each week then compete for the monthly grand prize of a $50 gift certificate to a local photo store and an interview in the paper. (Ironically it's the same photo store I've been shopping at since I was in high school.)

So just for the heck of it I sent in a photo last week, then promptly forgot to check the website for the finalists until yesterday.

And look what I found at the # 2 spot!




I'm a finalist on my first try! Woot!

I can enter every week this month, and the more times I make the finalists the better my chances of winning the grand prize. Wish me luck!

Now I gotta go pick another photo to send in. :-)

I love the picture that you take the other day of the pink (kind of soft lilac) tulip, well is beautiful too.

Aww, thank you so much! It was my goal to concentrate on my photography this year and it looks like I’m starting to succeed, little by little. :-)
