Morning, all! Hope I'm not boring you guys with my photography posts, but we had some gorgeous weather here on Sunday, so I got out the camera to snap a few more photos. Several different colored tulips bloomed, as well as these pretty pink and white flowers on one of my trees (I've no idea what kind of tree it is) and I took a few more of the apple blossoms, too.

I've been thinking about getting a booth at a few craft fairs next season to sell my photos, but man, the upfront costs are really steep. So I was thinking about having a "garage sale" and selling my pictures right at my house this summer. I'm trying to organize an entire block-wide garage sale to get lots of traffic down our street to increase my chances of selling some things. Then depending on what kind of money I make, I can put that towards buying a tent and tables, etc. for a craft show next summer.

And now...onto the photos!

Wow, thank you, sweetheart! It’s actually my wish to someday have my photos published.

you have a camera professional? When you take of such photos you use the zoom of very far?

It’s a semi-professional camera. The real professional cameras are much too expensive for me to afford! Yes, I’m zoomed in very, very close to the flowers. And now that I’m getting better lenses I’ll be able to get even closer!

Its your garden? magnificent.

Yes, it is! I’m very lucky to have beautiful flowers and trees right at my house.

On question jensen come at the con at chicago?

He'll be there!

I’ve had guesses of cherry and apple. Looks like either way I might have some fruit in my yard soon! :-)

Thanks! Glad you like them! I really do hope I can get something going on my block. My neighbor told me that before we moved in they used to have sales like that every summer. Don’t know why they all stopped, if the person who organized it moved away or something. But I’m more than happy to take over! I’ve got incentive! :-)

Wow, what amazing photos!! My niece is going to school to learn photography but I told her the best experience you will get is going out and doing it and you just proved my point :)

Aww, thank you! Glad you like them! Good for your niece for going into photography. If I’d have known then what I know now about how everything was going to go digital I would’ve switched my major from graphic design to photography while I was still in art school.

But yes, there’s nothing better than getting out in the field, even if it’s your own backyard (like me!) and just start shooting. Experiment with exposure and shutter speeds, etc. You never know when you’re going to get that WOW! shot. :-)

I am never bored looking at your beautiful pictures.. IMO- I would spend the money and go to the art/craft fairs. People going to those are looking for new different items, folks going to garage sales are looking for bargans, and used items..JMO. Try and find some art/craft fairs that are sponsored by community orgs, they may have a cheaper entry fee.

Oh, don’t get me wrong, my goal is to definitely get into a craft show, but I couldn’t come up with the money needed for all the supplies fast enough to try and get into anything this year. So I figure I’ll start small with the garage sale and gauge interest in my work. And I figure I’ll be the most unique seller on the block! Hopefully that will get people to come over and look. Then any money I make will go into the craft fair fund and I’ll be set for next summer!

I can never get enough of your amazing photos, hon.
Love all of them once again, the tulips are beautiful although I still favor the tree blossoms.
I hope you can manage to get a booth at some craft fairs because your photos are too good to be sold at a garage sale only!

Aww, thank you, sweetheart! {{HUGS}}

Love all of them once again, the tulips are beautiful although I still favor the tree blossoms.

I really, really liked the pink and white blossoms. What I didn’t realize until yesterday was that the flowers have now turned completely white. I’m so glad I caught them over the weekend while they were still partly pink!

I hope you can manage to get a booth at some craft fairs because your photos are too good to be sold at a garage sale only!

The craft show is definitely my ultimate goal, but I think I need to start small to gauge interest. If the garage sale is a flop I think I’ll need to reconsider spending all that upfront money for a booth.

I'm glad you're still enjoying all of my nature photos! And you're right, we do usually only see the bigger picture - the whole tree instead of the individual flowers or leaves. Sometimes it's good to stop and take a closer look. :-)
