Supernatural - look who's coming back

I don't talk about Supernatural much anymore, but I was actually kind of excited to read this news yesterday from Zap2It...

 

'Supernatural': 'Buffy's' Amber Benson returns for episode 619

The "Supernatural" news keeps pouring in as the series builds toward another explosive season finale. Zap2it has learned that "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" star Amber Benson is set to make her return for episode 619, tentatively titled "Mommy Dearest."

Benson is currently on location in Vancouver for the episode, which is scheduled to air on April 29. She has filmed scenes with Jim Beaver (Bobby). "Finished day 1 of episode 19, working with Amber Benson," Beaver says in a Facebook update. "She's a real sweetheart."

Benson played "good" vampire Lenore in Season 2's "Bloodlust," where we first met one of our favorite villains, Gordon. Lenore was the head of a group of vampires who were attempting to live peacefully among humans. They fed on cattle blood and tried to blend in to keep hunters like Gordon and the Winchesters off their backs.

Lenore proved that she could resist the temptation of human blood when Gordon tempted her by slicing Sam's arm open. Though Dean initially hesitated to set her free, Sam convinced him to let her and the rest of the non-murderous vamps go.

We're speculating, based on the episode title, that her return is connected to the Mother of All, who, like any over-involved mom, has been driving monsters extra-crazy for the last year and a half. Can Lenore keep her urges under control even with the Mother of All whispering creepy recruitment plans in her ears?

We'll see.

Yay! Lenore's back! I really, really liked her in Bloodlust and I'm quite happy she'll be returning. :-)

YES! I've been hoping she'd be back! Actually, I kept hoping for her to come help the boys fight during the Apocalypse. Let's hope she'll be an ally and hasn't been seduced by the Mother's siren call.

I'm definitely happy that she's coming back. It was her character that made Dean question what's good and what's evil. To look at those shades of gray. That was a powerful moment for him. Here's hoping they have a good interaction this time around, too!

I don't remember her! ha! i didn't like that episode, it was so boring to me. But, if she only appeared in that episode, how is that, that they bring one character as useless as she? Why not instead a character like missouri, someone who maybe can help to sam in manyways. she had powers.

I absolutely agree about Missouri, though. A lot of people didn't like her, said she treated Dean like crap, but I disagree. She just didn't take any of his shit! I thought she was fantastic and I've always wondered why we never saw her again, even when the boys went back to Lawrence.

But, I honestly hate so much the black man I can't stand him...I hate the way he acts ( by the way, when I say "black" I am not saying something racist, it is just, that here, we say the things how they are, so if one person is black, then that person is black, but, as black in spanish is " negro" it sounds a little rude, so we have the...The thing of always say something with the ending " ito" which should in english be "little" in oreder to reduce the " rude" thing )

That Bloody Mary thing has always bothered me. I don't think that Eric ever expected us fans to actually wonder why Dean's eyes bled. I just think Eric thought it looked cool that everyone's eyes were bleeding. Then we all called him on it and he didn't have an answer, so he never gave us one.

---hahaha!!! you and many fans. I remember, read once an interview or maybe it was the only con that kripke has been in. He was asked about it, and he said that it was something that he didn't know if it could have an answer. I think it was an interview and not at the con. But, see, they just want to open plots and never close them. Like now, we have the angel thing, the mother thing and the sam's wall. and there is just 7 episode ahead. :S

Yeah it could be true. That, the show have fans that always think about the things and not just watch it to take a rest of the work. But, what I think is that he wanted to play so much and didn't know to where take the things. See what happened with Ruby, the first Ruby, katie said the left the show because they didn't know where was the ending that character :S

And I base that, in that, Erik always liked the things that were so amazing or at least look them amazing to him. You know, before use the chevy impala he wanted a mustang 65 I think that one that all the man fell in love. So, I think, he did the same with that scene, and just never worry to tell about it.
