Me again! Back with some thoughts on Leverage - The Double Blind Job. I really liked this one!
Here's some random thoughts I jotted down while I was watching...
• I LOVED Eliot with the coffee spilled down his shirt. LOL! I didn't even see him come out of the shop with Hardison, so when they panned over to him I laughed my butt off at his expression. :-)
• Oooh, look at Parker being all jealous!
• Nate telling Eliot to be subtle when breaking into the doctor's apartment and then the crash of the door flying open. "Not subtle." Ha!
• Love the Eliot-Hardison banter - "Plug it into your phone." "Really?"
• OH. MY. GOD. Look at Eliot in that white button down shirt and the suit coat with his perfect, perfect hair. Excuse me, be right back. I've exploded from the hotness.
• Hee! Look at Eliot and the FDA gal - "Spend the day with me." Gosh, twist my arm! You lucky, lucky woman.
• Again with the laughter as Eliot sits with his head down on the table, all worn out. "I went on something called the Boston Duck Tour." ROTFL!!
• "Prison's changed him." - truer words were never spoken, Hardison. I can't remember from the season premiere - did they ever say how long Nate was in jail?
• Ok, the scene with Eliot and the FDA gal killed me. "I'm looking for someone more dangerous." LOL!! Oh honey, if you only knew. :-) And Nate, "You okay, Eliot? Do you need a moment?" Ha!
• Holy crap! Look at Parker go, sliding across the floor and taking out that guard with the metal case!
• Is this the first time we've gone an entire episode WITHOUT seeing Eliot beat someone up ON SCREEN?
• Parker and Hardison at the bar at the end. Perfect. Beautiful. She couldn't get the words out, but Hardison knew, telling her the "pretzels" were there whenever she wanted them. LOVE THESE TWO SO MUCH.
• I cannot WAIT until next week's episode. Not only do we have Alona Tal and John Schneider guest starring, but ELIOT SINGS!! I wonder if it's going to be a new Chris Kane song or one he's already recorded. Anyone have any info on that?
So, what did all of YOU think of The Double Blind Job?

In other random TV news...
I found out last night that my favorite new show of the summer, Rookie Blue, was already renewed for a second season. Sweet!
The Glades - I watched the pilot last night and although the main character is brilliant, he's also an ass, so I'm finding it difficult to like him. But the writing is top-notch. I never saw that twist at the end coming.

Date: 2010-07-13 01:38 pm (UTC)John said on his blog that we should assume the time between seasons is "real time" on the show, so Nate was in prison ~six months, give or take. I don't think they've specified that on the show.
I did not notice Alona in the previews, so I'm excited about that. I knew about John S and can't wait to see him--he was always my favorite Duke. No word on what song Chris may be singing, but it looks like the victims of the ep are songwriters, so it may well be one of his songs (or Steve's). That would be way cool.
I've watched one ep of Rookie Blue. I can't seem to get a liking on main character girl, but I like everyone else just fine. I missed The Glades preview--I have a houseguest and she doesn't do cop shows. I meant to set the DVR and then promptly forgot. So I will catch it on re-run.

Ah, thanks for that! I didn't see that on the blog. So definitely enough time for prison to have affected him.

It was really quick and I had to go back and pause the frame to be sure it was her. Wonder if she and Chris talked about Jensen. :-)

I'm just so thrilled he'll be singing that it could be Twinkle Twinkle Little Star and I'd be happy. *g*

I'm totally loving Epstein. He's a small guy, but he's proved he can take down guys twice his size!

I think they're playing it quite often. Take a look see and I'd be interested to know what you think.

Date: 2010-07-13 05:28 pm (UTC)Eliot should wear a suit more often. Although his hair was bugging me. It looked like they had dyed it darker or something. Not a fan of the dark hair.
Again with the laughter as Eliot sits with his head down on the table, all worn out. "I went on something called the Boston Duck Tour." ROTFL!!
Eliot was like, FML. *lmao*
I plan on watching & dvr-ing next week's ep just so I can watch it over and over again.

OMG, me, too! With John S. guest starring and Eliot singing I know I'll be watching it many, many times!

Date: 2010-07-14 07:51 pm (UTC)Hmm….could it be the absence of a certain character?? ;-)
Yeah, that's Parker flirting. She gets naked.
LOL! And that's more than once she's done that in front of Hardison!

I thought that was Alona on the preview! I am looking forward to Chris singing. And seeing John and hearing him sing a little bit, even if Sophie said the song was terrible. Oh and they said today that after the ep is over you can download Chris's song on Itunes.

It was so funny when I realized that he kept pulling people off screen to beat them up. :-) And yes, that look was awesome. Loved Hardison telling Nate that Eliot was changing his shirt because it got coffee, blood and some teeth on it. [snerk]

Did you see this preview with Chris singing???
