For those of you following the new Supernatural comic series, here's info on the last two issues:

SUPERNATURAL: BEGINNING'S END #5 (OF 6)

Written by ANDREW DABB and DANIEL LOFLIN • Art by DIEGO OLMOS • Photo cover

The Winchesters get a major break in their hunt for John Dee, but how much closer are they really to the Yellow Eyed Demon? And can Sam and John put aside the growing rift between them to work as a team for one final mission? This senses-shattering penultimate issue is a shocker!

SUPERNATURAL: BEGINNING'S END #6 (OF 6)

The Winchester's Big Apple adventure comes to a close as they finally locate John Dee, and it leads to a shocking showdown between John and Sam that's only been hinted at on the hit TV series! Find out what tears the family apart and sends Sam cross-country to Stanford, turning his back on his family forever.

I'm really, really curious as to how Dabb & Loflin handle the fight that makes Sam leave. It won't be canon, per se, but I'm interested in their take on it.

John Dee is someone that John Winchester thinks has information on what killed Mary. So they've been trying to find him in New York.

The main focus of the series is the rift between John and Sam that leads to Sam leaving for Stanford, which is why the descriptions tend to be about the two of them. But Dean is right there, too, hunting right alongside Sam and John.

I'll be honest and say the first two issues were just so-so, but this last issue that focused on Sam and Dean hunting together was much better.

I, too, wish we could've seen that final fight between Sam and John on the show.
