This is Andrea Romano, the voice director for Under the Red Hood, talking about Jensen. He brought her to TEARS during this really emotional scene. She has nothing but praise for our boy. :-)

Man, I cannot WAIT to see this!

Oh cool! I so love when people praise Jensen, it never gets old. And I do think he deserves it too.

Jensen's gotten a LOT of practice expressing all sorts of emotions on SPN, so it's really no wonder he could work the scene she's talking about. :D

She was like a total fangirl, gushing about him. Loved it! Nice to know that other people are realizing how talented he is. :-)

And yep, good point, his Dean emo-days are paying off!

I'm super busy right now, sweetie, so I don't have time to do an entire transcript for you. She just said how impressed she was with Jensen, how talented he is and that there was this really big emotional scene and he did it so powerfully it brought her to tears.

I love that our boy is getting so much good praise for this...I'm sure it will be amazing. He always knocks it out of the park on the show. I am so STOKED to get this, it should be phenomenal

I noticed that. I was like "OMG, this is a seasoned animation director and she is positively gushing about Jensen's work!"

I love it when his talent is recognized.

Hey, nice to see you around here! Haven't heard from you in awhile. :-)

It was nice to hear her talk favorably about Jensen in the first interview, from the Justice League DVD, but man, she was a total fangirl in this one! Loved it! He brings us to tears on a regular basis. Nice to know he has that effect on other people as well. :-)

OK, he's got another fangirl. I mean she gets tongue tied, wrings her hands, yup, she's got it bad. But really great praise. Walking in his daddy's shoes, that's a good thing. Body goes, voice usually stays. Sounds like it will be something I will want to see.

LOL! She's totally a fangirl now! She was gushing about him! Loved it!

Him getting into voiceover work was a wise decision. It opens up all new doors for him, and like you said, it's something that he can make a second career out of. Just look at Mark Hamill! He's been doing these superhero dvds for years!

Wow,looks like this lady knows what she is talking about.
I knew it from the very beginnig that Jensen is awesome in everything he's doing,so it's about time other people in the business realize that as well. I'm getting a little too "fangirlie" (is that actually a real word ?) right now,but what the ... :o)Go Jensen, you rock !!!

Yeah, I can't wait to see this, too. I always have so much respect for people who do voice work, and I'm not surprised at ALL that Jensen knocked it out of the park :)

LOL, that icon cracked me up. Don't we all feel that way.

And thanks for that vid. Though I found it really odd that she described him first as working on a few episodes of Smallville and only then mentions SPN, with that pause first, as though no one has ever heard of it.

Ha! I keep trying to purchase him but it keeps telling me he's not available yet. ;-)

You're welcome for the vid! I, too, thought it was odd that she mentioned SV first, since he's been on SPN for five years, compared to one on SV.

How cool is that?! thanks for sharing. of course we all have known for ages that Jensen can nail a scene, but it's good he's getting praise from others too. Hey, maybe this will give him work when he loses he looks. CHA! Kidding, he'll never look bad.

But really, you're on the right track! This could turn out to be a very excellent second career for him. Just look at Mark Hamill! He's made a huge name for himself in the superhero animation world. No reason this shouldn't open all kinds of doors for Jensen, too!

I love the very IDEA of this, as Red Hood is one of the most interesting and well done retcons in recent comics history, up there with Bucky Barnes coming back hardcore as The Winter Soldier, and Jensen, who I've always thought would make an excellent Dick Grayson in the Nolan-Verse Batman, is perfect for this.

I had to do my history on the Red Hood when I found out about this project and I'm definitely intrigued - Jason Todd coming back from the dead and becoming the Red Hood? Sounds awesome! Though somehow I'm thinking it doesn't end well for the vigilante Hood. :-(

So far it's working out okay for Jason, not great because if anyone has the darker aspects of Bruce's personality and the borderline recklessness of Dick's it's Jason, but he has quickly become one of my favorite comic characters, if you go on http://www.htmlcomics.com you should be able to find the whole storyline and read them through.

They have SO MANY COMICS! I'm currently reading Fables but I finished Y The Last Man, amazing btw, and it's a great way to see if you actually want to buy a comic before you buy it. It's how I knew not to get Ultimate X-Men because I figured out early on that it goes completely off the rails halfway through.

Thanks for the rec on Y The Last Man. I remember when the first issue of that came out way back when and I should've picked it up and didn't. I think I need to go find the collected version of it at my local store.

I'm eager to poke around the site you gave me, especially if I can get a feel of a comic before I buy it. Sweet!

Thanks again!

The collected versions are on Amazon.com at a decent price, so get them if you can, it's so worth it, though it'll break your heart into a million pieces.
You're welcome, enjoy!
