Whoo-hoo! Check out our boy Jensen doing the voice work for Batman: Under the Red Hood. Good GOD, but that man's voice is so freakin' sexy. I know I'll be first in line this summer to be buying this DVD!

They said what a talented actor he is, and how well he did working in the animation format, with just his voice, that his instincts were good. Jensen said that whatever he didn't know he asked questions about and then kinda joked and said he'd pretend and hope he'd get away with it. :-)

He looks so cute in the baseball hat! I, too, love that shirt he's wearing and yes, that grey sweater he wore to the MBV premiere looked fantastic on him!

I like that the directors know that he can do a wide range of voices...from light to dark. (however they said that).

Yes, I loved the praise they gave him. Apparently the story is about the "death" of Jason Todd (aka Robin) who turns into the vigilante Red Hood, so he needed to be able to portray the innocence of Robin and then turn hard to play Red Hood.

Man, I'm really looking forward to this DVD. Jensen's gonna ROCK it!

Huh. That's the second death of Jason Todd then, because he was killed first by the Joker in a pretty well-known comic event. (They had readers call and vote if he should die or not.)

The story line for Red Hood has something to do with the "A Death in the Family" story from the comics. Is that when Jason was killed off?

LOL! Alive and kicking! My favorite comic series is actually called Superman/Batman and each issue features both of them working together. Some of the issues are totally slashy. :-)

Yes, Jason died in the "A Death in the Family" story; that's when The Joker killed him, after torturing him. I guess it wasn't a permanent death after all! (He was pretty dead though, at least for the four or five years I still read comics after that storyline was published. They must have either rewrote it or continued it a few years later.)

I meant Jason still being alive, I knew Batman is!

I remember a Young Batman and Young Superman series...I think they were the sons of the originals, and they kind of teamed up on the road, helping people. (Hmm. Sounds kind of familiar...) I have those somewhere in my parents' barn. I hope they're still in good shape, but with all the ramdomness of Vermont weather, I fear they're not.

It may have been son of rather than young. I think the stories ran in World's Finest comics in (yikes, I'll be dating myself!) the late 70s/early 80s? Maybe earlier. I think I bought them new, but I may have bought collectible copies, since there was a collector's store I used to frequent...

I'm surprised Mark Hamill's not a part of this production...at least not as far as I can see...he's usually all over a project like this.

Ok I know as long as he's with Supernatural he won't have much time to do a big movie project,so I guess I just have to hope that this DVD will be available in Germany as well one day...

I love all three of the actors they showed, so I think it's gonna be incredible.

I think it's neat, when they do voice acting, how they are able to change their voices around like they're really doing whatever the characters are doing. That's gotta be really hard.

It's got to be totally hard, especially when you're used to being in front of a camera and using facial expressions and body language to enhance the dialogue you're speaking. But you have none of that in animation, so everything depends on the inflection of your voice.

I swear I'm going to have to NOT think of Dean Winchester when I watch this Batman DVD. :-)

Beyond the fact that he's hot like burning, I love that Jensen is so freaking talented. And that's not really something you can say about most actors who start out on soaps. He just blows me away, no matter what he's doing. (well, ok, we won't talk about Devour)
