Vancouver Con - the aftermath

Hey folks!

I'm here at the YVR airport, waiting with charityflint  to board our flight back to Chicago, both of us bone-tired, but happy as clams. :-)  It was a whirlwind week for us up here in Vancouver, culminating with the end of the convention last night, and my head is still spinning with all that happened yesterday.

I'll have the ENTIRE Jensen/Jared breakfast panel and the ENTIRE Jensen and Jensen/Jared panel and Jim Beaver's ENTIRE panel for download after I get home (and get some sleep *g*).

I've got to say that Jensen and Jared were in FINE form yesterday. LOVED THEM!! Charity and I saw some hysterical hijinks going on while we were in line, waiting for our J2 sandwich picture, and the breakfast was one laugh after another. :-)  Not to mention their panel! I thought it was fabulous, even though we basically got screwed out of an individual panel with Jared.

Had a really nice experience with both the boys in the autograph line. My new friend Marlaine was in front of Charity and I, and she slipped Jensen a box of Gas-X and told him to put it in Jared's food! LOL! Jensen laughed and then leaned forward toward the three of us, lowering his voice and said, "You know, I bought a box of that stuff in chocolate flavor, but he doesn't like chocolate!"  I said, "Who on earth doesn't like chocolate??" and Jensen replies, "I know! Jared's a freak!" LOL!

When it was my turn I thanked him for coming as he signed my item, then I put down the metal street sign I had made for him that looked like

He was shocked it was for him! He said, "It's for me? Really?" I'm like, yep, all yours! He's like, "Sweet!" LOL! Then I showed him my Impala credit card and I wish I had it on video, because his mouth just dropped open! All he could do was stare at it and then he goes, "Oh yeah, you can put anything on there now, right? That's so neat!"

I moved onto Jared next and got the exact same reaction with the '67 Impala sign! "That's for ME?" LOL! It was so cool that both of them truly liked the gift.

Super secret message for mickeym  - Ok, I asked him! Jared wears a size 13 shoe, unless it's Puma, then he wears size 14. :-) I'll take that fic you promised me now!

Jim Beaver's panel was later in the day and he was a RIOT!! First time I'd ever seen Jim in person and I totally love the man. :-) In the autograph line he signed my KAZ 2Y5 license plate "Drive safe (ya idjit)"  LOL!

My photo op with Misha came out fantastic, as did the J2 sandwich pic that Charity and I did together (with the exception of Jared's strange pouty-face in it!). I also had a pic taken of just the boys and I love it!! I'll have everything scanned in when I get home.

Ok, gotta wrap this up and get ready to get on the plane.

I'll miss you, Vancouver. I had an INCREDIBLE time. :-)

I SO wish I could've gotten Jensen's face on film! He literally just froze with his mouth open when he saw the credit card! LOL!

You definitely won't regret buying your Asylum ticket for Jim. He is AWESOME in person. :-)
