Leading sci-fi website, Totalscifionline.com has teamed up with Supernatural
Magazine to find out who is the best villain in Supernatural. We want to
know the diabolical masterminds who have sent a shiver down your spine and
set your heart pounding and the evil geniuses who make it seem good to be
bad.

The top Supernatural villain will appear on a special commemorative
Supernatural Magazine cover, on sale November 24, 2009.

Sam and Dean Winchester hunt all manner of spirits and monsters on a daily basis, but some of their adversaries have been truly evil schemers! Perhaps you think the “Yellow-Eyed Demon” Azazel, with his overarching plans, was the nastiest? Or maybe the malicious first demon, Lilith? Then there’s the turncoat Ruby, who betrayed Sam, or the torturer demon Alastair, who tried to make Dean his apprentice in Hell. Or perhaps the fallen angel Uriel was the worst, for killing his own kind to raise Lucifer? You’re almost spoilt for choice!

The YED's got my vote, hands down! Fred made that character freaking awesome. :-)

I voted for YEd also. he started it all, and after ITB, we know it went back to Mary.. And yeah Fred was great. Having met him in person, he holds a special place in my heart.

Horray for the YED! He was their first, big bad, which is why I'll always put him on the top of the villain pile. And Fred? He was very cool in person. :-)

While I love the YED, and Fred was totally awesome, the first one that popped into my head was Meg. I just loved Nicki in that role, she really rocked it, and even Jared did an awesome job with "her," too. She's (He?) just so twisted and evil, but also so clever and cunning. Great combo in my book.

Nicki really was awesome, wasn't she? She's definitely my favorite female villain. They've had epic fail with that since her!

I agree with you about Fred, he was absolutely awesome! But I had to vote for The Trickster. I know he's not so much scary as funny, but the mayhem he can create! I loved his two episodes! Tall Tales had the brothers on eachother's nerves but together in the end. Mystery Spot had the brothers mostly together until we saw how depressed Sam would be without Dean that he finally becomes devoid of emotion. And when he gets Dean back, there's a hug! And both episodes involved Bobby, which is always a good thing!

Plus, as many things as they've killed, they still haven't been able to kill him! And, he has a dog! How can you not love a demi-god with a dog?

Wow, awesome argument for the Trickster! I never particularly thought of him as a villain, but you've got some good reasons there! Especially that he's still alive. :-)
