Jared to attend the Jus in Bello convention in Italy

It's not till April of 2010, but the Jus in Bello Convention in Italy has announced their first guest - Jared Padalecki!

All you lucky Italian fans will get to see Sam Winchester!

Oh, you're very welcome! Glad to give you guys some publicity. I think it's great that fans other than in the U.S., Australia and the UK are going to get a chance to have a Supernatural convention with at least one of the guys. :-) Good luck!

yeah, here in italy a lot of person are interested in this con and we're working hard to have all the guests needed to make everyone happy!
Consider a new episode of Supernatural over here usually has at least more than 1ml viewers and most episode rate higher, this even if we're still stuck at season 3 so most people have already seen original version of episodes, and our population is not similar to US population by far!

I applaud you for taking the initiative to start this convention. I am SO tired of Creation being the only game in town, the only way to see any of the actors. I only wish someone here in the U.S. would start up a convention to compete against Creation! Do you think chances are good you'll get Jensen as well?

i can understand the wish to have some other organizer in the US so anyone could choose who is better, and having more variety would really help the fans.
But i think it would be difficult to do because Creation has a solid reputation among people working on the field, and a brand new organizer would have to face a lot of troubles to manage something better (you know habits die hard)
Also believe me if we had someone working like Creation in europe we probably would have thought a lot more about organizing an event ourselves (Creation cons generally are way way better organized then Rogue's and this says a lot about european situation) but we don't so here we are.
I can admit to you i would have much more enjoyed continuing in taking part to cons on a whim as a fan than serving as organizer because of my professional experience.

I can't tell anything on the subject because of confidentiality policies, but i can assure you we will do our best to create the better con for fans coming over to italy.
