Feeling blah, but the boys always make me smile

Hey guys!

First, many thanks to all of you who took a moment and filled out my LJ poll yesterday. It was interesting to see that everything Supernatural-related had nearly the same amount of votes. Looks like I've got a well-rounded LJ with something for everyone! Cool! (and apparently you all also want to hear about my boring RL ramblings *g*)

Second, am I the only one who hasn't ever seen this photo?



It was taken at the Chicago con, but is it a manip? Was there someone standing in between the boys? It's hysterical the way it is. :-)


I guess that's it for today. Feeling kinda blah and work sucks and I wish I were at home, snuggled in bed and watching Faith. Or maybe Scarecrow. Or maybe It's a Terrible Life. Or maybe Monster Movie. Or... *g*

Okay, hey, here's a question for all of you - if you're feeling kinda down, or under the weather, do you have a "go to" Supernatural episode that you'll pop in while snuggled up in bed? Or do you maybe watch all the gag reels instead? :-)

My favorite has always been "Something Wicked." I know that by heart. But then again season 1 has always put me in my happy place above all others. LOL

I love Something Wicked! I remember completely flipping out when I found out it was going to have our very first flashback. I've watched that one dozens of times.

So far season 1 and 2 are still my happy place. We will not speak of season three. *g*

Yeah, today was pretty crappy - felt bad, work sucked and it was cold and rainy here. Blech. I think I'll go watch a few gag reels. :-)

I'm feeling very snowed under piles of paper at work today myself. As for go-to eps, I'd say Mystery Spot is right up there at the top, along with Monster Movie.

Ten Inch Hero! Priestly is the BEST! I nearly died at the end when he's all cleaned up and looking like baby!Jensen. :-) That was just a really great, feel-good movie.

I think that I never had that urge, but when my grandmother died (I think I have to say that I wasn't very attached to her) I watched "Heart" while my parents where at the hospital and sorted everything out. It was a little more than an hour away from us, so I was sure that I had to find something to do while there weren't at home.

as for the question:I prefer to re-read one of my fav fics.But if I was to re-watch something it would be Mystery Spot(yeah, I know, but I skip the second part where the 1st Wensday comes), Tall Tales, Born Under ..., etc-etc-etc)))oh, and GAGs as well(`cept the ones from S3, I don`t like them much. Certain part of them look really forced and scripted)

I like to watch the Paley thing (THANK YOU)! The last time I thought it would depress me because we've lost Kim. But they're all so happy and having a good time, it was easy to put that out of my mind and enjoy the moment.

If I want to completely forget what's going on with me, I watch BUABS.

Other than that I just got to the first disc of the first season, and continue on from there!

You know, I haven't watched the Paley disc since Kim passed away, for fear it would depress me, too. But now that you've talked about it, I think I need to go and watch it as well, and smile at how funny Kim was (I auditioned for Sam). :-)

Barb, regarding episodes I like to watch when I'm feeling down, I run the gambit. Faith is probably my main go-to episode, but I also like The Benders, Mystery Spot, IMTOD, WIAWSNB, etc., etc. I also like to watch the special feature on the Season 1 DVD, Tales from the Edge of Darkness and the Pilot with the commentary turned on because I like to hear from Kripke, Nutter, McG, Peter Johnson, et al, about how the show was conceived and especially about how Jared and Jensen were cast and what good friends and actors they are and about the wonderful chemistry they have and how supportive they are of each other, etc. I also love when Kripke talks about when he was conceiving the show he thought for a while about having the guys drive a 67/68 Mustang and he had at the time a next door neighbor who pimped out classic cars for a living so Eric asked him what he thought about using the Mustang and the guy says (and I'm paraphrasing here) "sure, the Mustang is fine, if you're a p*ssy" and then the neighbor suggests using a '67 Chevy Impala "because you can fit a body in that trunk" -- cracks me up every time.

I loved hearing from all of you on what eps you'd choose. Didn't even think of the rest of the special features! I haven't watched the commentary on the pilot in ages. Now I've got the urge to. :-) I totally remember Eric talking about the Mustang and the body in the trunk! LOL!

That pic of "Coach Dean" made me laugh SO HARD! Jensen just KILLS me!
