Well, my doctor beat me to the punch and called me again a few minutes ago and I decided to answer the call.

Just as I suspected, I failed the heart monitor test. :-(

Doc tells me that after doing some research into the migraine meds I'm currently taking he does not believe my rapid heartbeat is related to that.

Which could be pretty bad news, as we'd been hoping I could just be taken off these meds and put on something else and the heart thing would be fixed. Not so much. {sigh]

He's referring me to a cardiologist now. Lord knows what I'm going to have to go through once I get set up with someone.

What a way to start off the week. :-(

Thanks for the hugs, babe. :-) I've got my fingers crossed this doesn't turn out to be anything serious. I'll let all you guys know what happens after I get set up with the cardiologist.
