OUCH!!! That sucks. Maybe alot of people were turned off by the whole "other brother" thing. I know I for one did not like the episode, but I did watch it.

But then again, any episode without Yoko ROCKS in my book. LOL

Yep, the "other brother" combined with being off for weeks AGAIN equaled bottom of the barrel ratings for us last week.

But like you said, any episode that's Yoko-free is a winner in my book! LOL!

It seems like EVERYONE was low this week! Seriously though, it WAS the first ep back after a three week hiatus, but I liked it, quite a bit and definitely didn't think it deserved the lowest ratings of the season! I think that there was a lot of little character insights revealed that were really important to the series, overall, in last nights episode, even if you disregard Adam (and I totally spotted Kim, :( sadface ).

(On a purely selfish note - I've been waiting for a ghouls episode for a while am and slightly bummed that we didn't get them in their 'native' form, BUT, it kicked my writer's block ass and I'm now currently writing my first ever SPN fic - not my first ever J2 fic - which I BELIEVE will turn out to be Wincest - it's General right now - which picks up right after last nights ep and attempts to fix all the crap I fear is going to happen between now and the season finale and HAS been happening all season long between Sam and Dean, so the episode was good for something!)

Yeah, it wasn't a great week for many of CW's shows, was it? All of these hiatuses are doing nothing but killing our ratings. I'd rather the show start in January and run straight through with no reruns.

Now ghouls are something I really know nothing about, so now you've got me curious as to their native form!

Big congrats on writing your first Sam and Dean fic! That's fantastic! And from what you said here it sounds like it's going to be an awesome story. :-)

Yeah, I'm thinking a lot of factors may have come into play with this one - we'd been off the air for weeks again, prompting folks to either forget or like you said, think that the season was already over, or folks who were turned off by the concept of a third brother and just didn't want to watch.

Here's hoping the last three episodes do much better!
