Oh man, this is a GREAT video with Jensen, Jared and Misha from Australia. These guys are hysterical together!! I like Jensen's comments about season five being the last (maybe?) but could KILL Jared for his Butch and Sundance comment! Please don't let Kripke have heard that!

Thanks! That was quite enjoyable. :) Except for the 'Butch and Sundance' part. There HAS to be another option. Though I liked Misha's 'White House' response to the same question lol. And Jensen made it sound far more possible for a season six than some of the interviews I've read lately. I liked that he explained some comments have been taken out of context. That tells me that maybe he'd consider doing another season even if they didn't back the Brinks truck up to his door. Positive vibes for the most part.

Man, there is NOTHING wrong with having the boys ride off into the sunset together in the Impala. Because if they die, then to me, that means evil wins. And what a depressing ending to a series!

I know. I have to admit I was rather upset to hear both he and Jared go on and on in that EW article about how they just want the show to end. And now Jensen's doing an about-face? Perhaps his comments were taken out of context and he'd do the show for a sixth season. I've got my fingers crossed!

Nah, I kind of like the Butch and Sundance option for the Winchesters, because those pair? Could jump off a cliff in a burning Impala and survive - all three of them, you just wouldn't know how or who this time. :)

Agreed! LOL Besides which, to me that's better than some flashforward where we see Dean and Sam living in matching white picket fense houses with a gaggle of kids and two Mary Sue-ish wives. I hate it when shows do that.

Oh god, no! I wouldn't want that, either. [shudder] But the happy medium between death and picket fences is just seeing the boys drive off together into the sunset in the Impala as the final scene. Then you can think what you want happens after that - a cliff or 2.5 kids. ;-)

Hehe..I still want wriggle room, but most of all I want something that fires and inspires the fandom.

Season two ending was like the end of the series and it didn't really fire up fandom creatively unlike that car crash of season one, so yeah I want one hell of a blow up show down with impossible odds and it just fades to black..ok, so I'm a bit of a drama queen... and a bit of a sadist, but I honestly think fandom will live on longer on the unknown. *G*

Well, death isn't final on Supernatural, as we know, so if it is a Butch and Sundance, it doesn't mean they can't come back.

I feel that there is no way in hell or heaven that they will close the door to an eventual X-Files-like movie. Kripke may be out of story now, and they boys are tired, and ect. But two years from now, or five years from now or whatever, it's gonna be a different story. I'm sure Kripke knows that more than anyone. He might think he's spending a lot of money on diapers for the Kriplet now, but wait til he has to put him through college! I think he could suddenly remember more of the story that he wants to tell! ; )

Exactly. Kripke would be pretty damn stupid to shoot his cash cow. So I'm holding onto that thought - that Sam and Dean make it through the last season very much alive! :-)

And yeah for possible more seasons.. and as for the Butch and Sundance comment... see my LJ header because I think it's the only way this can play out. I agree with him... but not for a couple more seasons... :P

I love how the guys look so shaggy and happy and relaxed in their "We're on vacation, so we don't need to shave" beards...and then there was that little shirt-signing incident...I nearly fell off my chair! As long as Jared NEVER, EVER grows facial hair again! I think he's proven he can grow it. We don't need to see it again. Leave the scruff to Jensen!
