Oh man, this is a GREAT video with Jensen, Jared and Misha from Australia. These guys are hysterical together!! I like Jensen's comments about season five being the last (maybe?) but could KILL Jared for his Butch and Sundance comment! Please don't let Kripke have heard that!

Date: 2009-04-28 01:08 am (UTC)Man, there is NOTHING wrong with having the boys ride off into the sunset together in the Impala. Because if they die, then to me, that means evil wins. And what a depressing ending to a series!
And Jensen made it sound far more possible for a season six than some of the interviews I've read lately
I know. I have to admit I was rather upset to hear both he and Jared go on and on in that EW article about how they just want the show to end. And now Jensen's doing an about-face? Perhaps his comments were taken out of context and he'd do the show for a sixth season. I've got my fingers crossed!

I'm all for an explosive final ending that still leaves a tiny bit of wriggle room for fandom and the Supernatural. :))

Date: 2009-04-28 01:12 am (UTC)Because we all want that Supernatural movie down the line, don't we? :-)

Date: 2009-04-28 01:11 am (UTC)Oh god, no! I wouldn't want that, either. [shudder] But the happy medium between death and picket fences is just seeing the boys drive off together into the sunset in the Impala as the final scene. Then you can think what you want happens after that - a cliff or 2.5 kids. ;-)

Date: 2009-04-28 01:09 am (UTC)No! No "Butch and Sundance"! Because if they die, then to me, that means evil wins. And what a depressing ending to a series that I love!

Date: 2009-04-28 10:12 am (UTC)Season two ending was like the end of the series and it didn't really fire up fandom creatively unlike that car crash of season one, so yeah I want one hell of a blow up show down with impossible odds and it just fades to black..ok, so I'm a bit of a drama queen... and a bit of a sadist, but I honestly think fandom will live on longer on the unknown. *G*

Date: 2009-04-23 04:07 pm (UTC)I feel that there is no way in hell or heaven that they will close the door to an eventual X-Files-like movie. Kripke may be out of story now, and they boys are tired, and ect. But two years from now, or five years from now or whatever, it's gonna be a different story. I'm sure Kripke knows that more than anyone. He might think he's spending a lot of money on diapers for the Kriplet now, but wait til he has to put him through college! I think he could suddenly remember more of the story that he wants to tell! ; )

Date: 2009-04-28 01:15 am (UTC)I don't care! LOL! I want them alive and kicking in the final scene! No bringing them back as ghosts!

Exactly. Kripke would be pretty damn stupid to shoot his cash cow. So I'm holding onto that thought - that Sam and Dean make it through the last season very much alive! :-)

Date: 2009-04-28 01:19 am (UTC)I always have to agree with you on Jared's comment, NO!
Thank you! There's nothing wrong with the boys driving off into the sunset together in the Impala, ready to fight evil another day. *g*
I did like how Jensen seemed dealt with s eason five ending rumors, dare that to mean we have hope???
I'm taking his comments as a very positive sign! [fingers crossed]

Date: 2009-04-23 08:50 pm (UTC)And yeah for possible more seasons.. and as for the Butch and Sundance comment... see my LJ header because I think it's the only way this can play out. I agree with him... but not for a couple more seasons... :P

Date: 2009-04-28 01:23 am (UTC)And those guys always say that they don't suggest things, etc. Uh-huh, yeah, right! I think we'll be seeing a "gym scene" early next season. :-)
OhGod, I LOOOVE the Ausieness...
Date: 2009-04-23 09:27 pm (UTC)Re: OhGod, I LOOOVE the Ausieness...
Date: 2009-04-28 01:25 am (UTC)As long as Jared NEVER, EVER grows facial hair again! I think he's proven he can grow it. We don't need to see it again. Leave the scruff to Jensen!
and then there was that little shirt-signing incident...I nearly fell off my chair! Man, that bit is never going to get old..
Oh. My. GOD. I've watched that video bit about a million times! Misha is SO internet/fandom savvy. That boy knows EXACTLY how to play us. And I love every minute of it. :-)
And could Misha be any cooler? I swear I adore him more and more.
I'm counting the days till I meet him in Vancouver!!
