Hey folks, just an FYI - Nielsen finally released the final numbers for last Thursday, and SPN fell from 4.03 million to 3.34 million for Heaven and Hell, after the Pittsburgh pre-emption was figured out.

Just wanted to give you all an update. :-)

That's still a respectable audience.

Definitely! We held up well despite the pre-emption.

Still a big jump from last week. I wonder what kind of ratings we'll get in January?

Thanks for this!

I'm fearful of the first episode back, after being off for eight weeks, people are gonna forget when it comes back on. But after that I think we'll be back up to our average so far.

Wow, that's a big drop.
But we're still above the 3 mil. so we can't complain.

Yeah, I honestly didn't think that many people watched football in Pittsburgh! But despite the pre-emption we did very well.

Yeah... but if it wasn't preempted, and that area could watch the show, I would bet it would be at LEAST 3.6 million.

Oh, definitely, I'm sure it would've been up in that range. I didn't think that many people watched football on Thursday in Pittsburgh!

Is this the most the show has ever been pre-empted in a season? It certainly seems like it!

Honestly, yes, and that's because of the new agreement that was made between some of the CW affiliates at the start of this season with the Tribune corporation, who own some of the affiliates. Tribune wants a bigger revenue than the CW's schedule was bringing in, so the Tribune sought out sports to show instead - and got it. So unfortunately, out show gets sacrificed in the process, all in the name of money. [sigh]
