Over at SpoilerTV they've released about 30 pages of script sides for episode 4x11.
Ok, let's start off with the title, Family Remains.
A family (Mom, Dad, teenage daughter, 8 year old son and an uncle) move out to this farmhouse in search of a new start. Last year their oldest son was killed and it's tearing the family apart.
Only problem is, there's...something living in the walls of the farmhouse. I'm not really sure what kind of creature Lizzie is supposed to be, but she might be the dead daughter of the former owner of the farmhouse. Anyway, she hates the entire family except the young son and starts to try and kill them all off.
She ends up capturing young Danny somehow and with good continuity for Dean, with the way he is around children (Lucas from Dead in the Water, Michael from Something Wicked) he's really distraught and swears to the father that he'll get Danny back. Dean is really on edge about this throughout the pages and Sam's concerned about him. Dean angst! I like! :-)
So what's the urban legend Eric finally got in there? The Licked Hand! LOL! Do you guys remember Eric talking about that with John Shiban on the season one DVDs? Well, he gets it in this episode by having the teenage daughter thinking that her dog is on the floor beside the bed, licking her hand. Only she hears scratching at the door, opens it up and the dog's outside in the hallway! Ha! Kudos to you for getting that bizarre urban legend in there, Eric. :-)

Maybe there's also some big-brother vibe at play here,
Yeah, I'm sensing that might be part of it.
See, Kripke? I'm pretty easy to please if you play your cards right. ;)

And I do love to see him interact with children,
Me, too, and I think it's great that they've brought it up like, once a season - that tough guy, smart ass Dean Winchester has a soft spot for kids.
Strangely I've never heard of the licked hand legend.
I hadn't either, so I had to go Google it! Where Eric comes up with these obscure urban legends I'll never know. :-)
