Ok, wow, people, I just had a Crystal Light energy drink and I am FLYING. Whoo! So I channelled all that energy into creating twelve new icons. Ha! (See the pretty new Jensen here?)

After having won two Sentinel tape auctions right in a row, I've been on a TS kick lately and yesterday sat down to watch the pilot, Switchman, which I haven't seen in ages. Man, I love Jim and Blair!! That was my first, real, true fandom and though I've wandered over to Sam and Dean and Supernatural, Jim and Blair will always be my first fandom loves and OTP. :-) So I had to dedicate the subject heading to them - ahh, love at first wall slam. Ha!

I'm looking forward to getting out of here and home, because my best buddy, charityflint, is coming over to hang out. We're gonna go to dinner then back to my place to watch No Rest for the Wicked together, since we couldn't watch it with each other when it was first on. Then I'm going to introduce her to my other favorite pair - Joe LaFiamma and Levon Lundy from Houston Knights. Charity has never seen an episode and asked me the other day to show her one. Gosh, what a hardship! *g* And then I'm hoping to watch another Sentinel episode or two with her, since it's through TS that we first met each other and a beautiful friendship was formed. :-)

Oh, we're also going to be brainstorming ideas for a panel on SPN fanfiction that the two of us are moderating winchestmidwest, that's in just a few weeks. Yay! Any of you on my flist going to be there as well?

Barb, great minds think alike! I watched some TS eps last weekend and plan to watch more this weekend. I haven't watched the pilot again yet, but I love it (much like SPN, the pilot did a good job of introducing the characters and the "mythology"). And Jim and Blair just looked so beautiful in it! I so enjoyed watching it with the guys (well, Richard was late as usual!) and Danny and Paul at Return to Cascade a few years ago. They are just too funny!

Last weekend I watched what is probably still my favorite all-around episode, Flight, as well as The Rig, Sweet Science, Ice Man, Survival, Sleeping Beauty, and Breaking Ground (I still think Blair in one of the first shots of him in this episode (the scene where Jim and Blair are on the couch, Jim watching the news with the sound turned way down and Blair, wearing glasses and doing schoolwork, takes a sip of coffee and looks up at the TV) is absolutely breathtaking! And the "Turn this up" "Why?" "Why, because I can't hear it - there are some definite drawbacks to living with you." - just loved it. Much like SPN, even if the episode is not great (or has Cassie in it!), there are wonderful J&B moments in most of the eps.

Why do we fall in love with shows where TPTB try to shoehorn an annoying woman into the mix?

Ha! Too funny! I ended up watching Siege and Killers last night. I thought I'd just keep going in order from the pilot. :-)

(much like SPN, the pilot did a good job of introducing the characters and the "mythology").

It really did, and that's not always easy to do in just 45 minutes.

I so enjoyed watching it with the guys (well, Richard was late as usual!) and Danny and Paul at Return to Cascade a few years ago. They are just too funny!

That was AWESOME. Remember poor Garett kept going "I'm in this, I swear I am." LOL!

Wow, you had a regular TS marathon going on! For me, my absolute favorite Blair episode is Sweet Science. It was the first time we ever saw him really emotional, like that scene in the elevator, and I thought Garett did a fantastic job.

Oh, I totally agree! Everything about him looks perfect in that shot, from his hair to his glasses to that dark sweater he's wearing. Yum! LOL!

Yep! There's always at least one redeeming J&B moment in every episode.

LOL! I don't know! And it's strange, but watching Caroline again, it struck me for the first time that she was kinda annoying, too! Not just Cassie!
