Never a dull moment with Jensen and Jared

Happy Friday, everyone!

So I got issue 4 of the Supernatural Magazine yesterday and just burst out laughing while reading the interview with director Mike Rohl:

Question: What's the most enjoyable aspect of working on Supernatural?

Mike Rohl: Working with Jensen and Jared. If you work on Supernatural, you have to be a good wrestler, because these guys, from right out of nowhere, they like to spontaneously attack a crewmember and just wrestle him to the ground. And they're always doing that. They're a couple of guys from Texas who just love to have fun. They like to mix it up with the crew quite a bit, and that's the fun part, because there's always something amazing that's going to happen when Jensen and Jared come on set because they're so spontaneous.

Oh good god, can't you just picture it? Some poor, unsuspecting crew guy, walking along outside on set is suddenly ambushed when Jensen and Jared pop out from behind a tree or something with a war whoop and tackle the guy to the ground. LOL! And then jump up just as quickly and run away, with Jared probably laughing manically. Ha!

Hey, if it was ME, I certainly wouldn't be complaining if two hot guys pushed me to the ground and started rolling all over me! LOL! Bring it on, baby!

Man, SPN must be the best set to work on. I just love, love, love hearing stories like this about the boys. :-)

You're very welcome! Like you, I have to smile whenever I hear about Jensen and Jared's antics on set. Those boys! LOL!

Heeeheee!! That's so fuuny! You gotta wonder if they do it to the female crew members too. Cause yeah... not like I'd be complaining. Of course by the time we got done wrestling they'd be missing a few items of clothing ;-)

They do! There was the anecdote in the second season official guide about Jensen getting into a snowball fight with a gal and then tackling her to the ground. Ha!

Last year, someone had a set visit on the first day of filming. Apparently, both Boys were excited to be back. Jared got a bulk bag of those little plastic animals and was taking to gluing them onto people's stuff. The bills of hats were his favorite place. So about halfway through the day, when more than half the crew were walking around with tiny zebras or lions glued to their hats, there was a chase. One crew member, who managed to avoid Jared all day, went racing past with Jared hot on his heels, waving a glue gun and yelling, "Come back!"

Oh! I heard that story, too and nearly died laughing from the mental image of Jared chasing that poor guy! LOL! Geez, I love these boys more every time I hear things like this. Loves them!!

Man, I'd kill to be a PA on that set! So many times you hear what stuck up jerks some actors are that make the set unbearable. So, so glad that we don't have that problem with the boys!

ZOMG, if I was on that crew, I would wander aimlessly all day, just whistling and mumbling, "yeah, unsuspecting crew member here, just minding my own, and would be TOTally horny surprised if I was suddenly tackled and wrestled to the ground. A lot."

I forget where I read it, probably in a previous issue of the mag, but someone said it's like J2 have two jobs, their job as actors and entertaining the crew. And I think that's so true! They've both said in interviews that they want to keep their crew happy, and I don't think I've ever heard an actor feel like that was part of their job before!

Isn't that fantastic?? I have a feeling most actors treat their crew members as nothing more than support staff, there to do their every beck and call. But our two down-home boys from Texas? Never!

Love them!!
