Getting beat by Reaper is NOT good. :-( I'm very glad that SPN was given an early pick up, because with the way the ratings have been lately, I'd be really, really worried about getting another season.

And that's the final numbers for Reaper. It rose from 2.51 to 2.58 mil. I bet that SPN will drop in the final numbers and will stay behind GoGi and OTH. I'm afraid that SPN might not recover from the strike. I'm also glad that we got an early pick-up. With these numbers, the CW would drop us like a hot potato. I wouldn't be surprised if they cut the number of episodes ordered for S4 too :(

You know, I still haven't been able to find the final numbers over at the Programming Insider. But I'm honestly worried to see them, because I fear what you say will happen. :-(

I'm afraid that SPN might not recover from the strike

I honestly think it should've never come back and just started up again with season four, since we already got the early pick up. CW sabotaged us with putting Reaper in our spot for all those weeks and with zero promotion, as always, we're really suffering. [sigh]

Reaper was advertised left and right because they're trying to save the show. (Me? I'm pissed off that they killed off one of the gay demons

While the promo for 3.14 was better than the one for 3.13, it still isn't enough to get non-SPN diehards interested.

Kinda like Gossip Girl.

They had a gay demon??

P.S - love the icon! So appropriate. :-)

Kinda like Gossip Girl.

Except Gossip Girl was picked up right?

They had a gay demon??

They had a gay demon couple, and I LOVED them. Vinnie from Veronica Mars and Phil from Ed.

If it hadn't come back, we all would have gone into withdrawal, but it may have worked out better in the long run.

P.S - love the icon! So appropriate. :-)

I had to use it ;)

Except Gossip Girl was picked up right?

Oh god, did it really get an early pick up as well? Barf.

They had a gay demon couple, and I LOVED them.

Ah yes, so we must kill one of them off because I'm sure someone called and complained about gay demons. [shakes head] Give me a break.

If it hadn't come back, we all would have gone into withdrawal, but it may have worked out better in the long run.

Oh yeah, it would've made for a reeeeally long summer, but I would've gotten through it somehow, knowing the show wouldn't have gotten lost in the shuffle after the strike.

Reaper went up against DWTS' Results Show.

Supernatural went up against CSI, Grey's Anatomy and The Office. Impossible odds. I'm just glad Supernatural did better than last week. That was brutal.

[sigh] As always. Our poor show. :-(

It was a couple days before Ghostfacers aired and I seriously saw a post that said 'i didn't know a new Supernatural was airing on Thursday.' My head exploded. The CW promotion peeps didn't do their job. They never do their job. Our little show runs despite all the odds against it.

I'm thinking that Ostrff's nefarious plan of putting Reaper reruns in the spot where Supernatural re-runs should have been worked. Boosted Reaper viewers, lowered SPN viewers.

Bitch.

Yep, I absolutely have to agree with you there. She totally sabotaged our show and now we're paying the price. I swear I hate that woman. Anyone who puts on "Farmer wants a wife" should be taken out back and shot and replaced immediately.

This is a question for you Barb, about the Media Week website. I have had the forum bookmarked forever - it's where I see the ratings every week - they are in the thread called Last Night's Results. Now all of a sudden the whole page has disappeared! Ack. I was wondering if you got them from there as well. I can get to the Media Week main page, but I can't find a link to the discussion forums and that is the page I had bookmarked specifically. I hope it's just a glitch, but I don't get a page that says it's busy or anything, just the generic type search page that indicates the address is no longer valid.
Thanks ;-)
Cindy

Here's the direct link to the Last Night's Results page: http://pifeedback.com/eve/forums/a/frm/f/63310451

Worked fine for me just a minute ago. :-)

Tell me about it! Yet Dawn thinks it's the cat's ass. Not surprising from the woman who just put on "Farmer wants a wife". [shakes head]

Damn, I really thought we'd be hitting the 3 mil. border...damn damn. Even Reaper has better ratings :(
