OMG, people, what is going on here today??

First the earthquake, and now our watercooler just caught fire in the office!!

The smell in here from melted plastic is just nasty beyond belief, but it was kinda cool to see a flame shoot out of the back of it and smoke billow up in the air. :-)

I don't really need anymore excitement today, okay? Yikes!

Good grief!! I'm assuming nothing else and no one was hurt other than having to breath the nasty burnt plastic smell?

No more excitement for you :-)

Thankfully nothing else decided to catch on fire. In the office, at least. Later that day my boss's light fixture outside his garage caught fire and my friend's sump pump as well. It was the day of the apocolypse on Friday! LOL!

LOL! Yes, as strange as that sounds, the water cooler caught fire. It was the heating unit in the back for the hot water that decided to short circuit or something. Quite the excitement around here today!

You didn't pick up a cursed rabbit's foot somewhere, did you? That watercooler thing sounds like the air conditioner catching on fire in BDABR!

Me? Obsessed much? Nahh. . . .

Smoke billowed up in the air?? Was it black smoke? Maybe your water cooler was possessed!

Hey did Mandy or Chloe do anything strange or unusual pre-earthquake? People are all talking about weird thisngs their animals did here.

LOL! My god, it WAS! And there was me, without my exorcism rite handy. ;-)

And yes, the cats were freaking out and had actually woken up John prior to the quake hitting. What about all of yours?

One went and hid in the kitchen ceiling (it's a dropped ceiling, and in their ingenuity they've manged to find a way in there) which they haven't done since we had some other cats here, months ago. But other than that, the day before the quake, the weather was nice enough for the first time that we opened the door to the screened porch for them to go out and enjoy Spring. So any weird behavior could have been the earthquake, or the new smells or watching the birds or anything, so we really don't know.
