I'm already not pleased that Reaper is now showing in SPN's spot on Thursday nights and now Ostroff wants to directly link it up with SPN?? I'm sorry, but they're not even distant cousins.

You can tell this woman is desperate for ratings. Her own supernatural show is tanking and she can't stand it, so she's trying to ride SPN's coat tails and get us to watch by referencing SPN in the description.

It's okay to mention Supernatural in conjunction with another show, but CW can't be bothered to advertise SPN on it's own! And that just really, really irritates me.

I won't even watch Reaper because it's showing in SPN's timeslot. It could be a great show but here's one SPN fan who will never know. In this household, anyway, their promotional plans have backfired bigtime.

I watched the first few episodes of Reaper, and it is pathetic! The pilot was great, but after that, it's basically been the same story over and over. There's no character development for anyone except the devil, and that's not enough to carry a show.

Yeah, see the pilot was great because of Kevin Smith's involvement, and then it went downhill after that. It just looks...childish to me. The commercials for it don't look funny at all.

Yes! Try putting some money into the supernatural show you've already got! Imagine what a bigger success SPN could be if the CW cared about it even half as much as Reaper or America's Top Model.

Ditto!! I mean since day one they've done minimal PR for the show. CW sucks. And Reaper is not all that great of a show. Unless its humor is aimed at a much younger audience, most of the times I've watched it I've hardly cracked a smile.

I know! And I don't understand why! Why would you just ignore one of your shows? It's amazing that SPN has done as well as it has, basically relying on word of mouth advertising.

I've not watched Reaper but I have seen the promos and it looks a bit stupid to me.
Supernatural has so much depth, whereas this Reaper just seems to have surface laughs. I could be wrong but I don't really want to find out.

You hit the nail on the head. Shows like Reaper just want you to sit like a mindless lump in front of your tv, laughing at juvenile humor. Sorry, I prefer shows where I can get emotionally involved in, with the depth that you mentioned.

It's disgusting that Reaper is a must see list or something similar. I thought it was a stupid show the minute I saw the annoying ads. Watching just a few minutes of an early episode was proof that my instincts were right. It just isn't funny.

And to call it a "cousin to Supernatural"? Please! They're not even close! I truly hope Reaper dies the proper death it deserves...quickly. Then we can get SPN back on the air (I really miss even having reruns) and the universe will be back in its proper place again.
