I just ran over to this little Italian deli to pick up something for lunch and bring it back to the office, and I had a funny conversation with the young man who was the cashier, as I handed him my money...

Cashier guy: Hey, that's a cool watch. Who is that on there?

Me: Oh, just a guy from a tv show I watch.

Cashier guy: Yeah? What show?

Me: Supernatural.

Cashier guy: Hey, I've seen that! Man, that's kinda creepy.

Me: Yeah, but cool, isn't it? Oh, and it's Jensen Ackles on my watch. He plays Dean.

Cashier guy: Neat! Where in the world did you find it?

Me: eBay.

Cashier guy: [laughs as he hands me my change] I should've known.

Me: [I turned to leave] Don't forget to keep watching!


It was just so random, that he even saw my watch. I mean, I know I don't regularly look at what are on people's watches! And then for him to actually know Supernatural floored me!

That's cool! I've had people ask about my necklace but have yet to find anyone who watches the show. I tell people they need to though :-)

I've a had a lot of people at work ask me about the amulet and I like messing with their heads, telling them it's a Tibetian protection symbol, etc, just to see their reactions. :-)

LOL!! I've done the same thing a few times too. Usually depends on my mood and how much of a conversation I want to get into. If you really wanted to get them you could tell them it's a representation of a demon from an eastern religion ;-)
