I am vindicated!
Mar. 13th, 2008 11:43 amSo remember yesterday I said that during my review my boss said I needed to exercise more patience when dealing with problem customers? Well I've been dealing with a whopper of a problem customer for the last two days.
This morning I get the following email from the customer's sales rep, who I was also working with:
Hi Barb,
I want to thank you so very much for your understanding and diligent work for my client.
Their situation with the Canadian government is difficult and the information you provided in a timely manner was very helpful.
In good health,
Mike
The best part was that not only did he send this to me, but to the president of our company, too!
My boss is out of town until Monday, but you can be assured that I'll be showing this to him when he gets back, proof that I CAN deal with problem customers just fine, thank you. :-)

Save that sucker for your files and for your bad days. I still have 'happy letters' from my job at M.I.T. Press in 1996!
