Many thanks to all of you who sent calming vibes and good luck vibes my way yesterday. They were greatly appreciated!

My review went pretty well. I mean, I got really good marks, but two important things that I wanted to see happen got shot down and it really bummed me out. And my raise was...okay. I keep getting the "you're pretty high up in the pay scale already" crap - their excuse for barely giving a cost of living raise. But boy, I bet the managers aren't told that!

The only thing in the "needs improvement" category part of the review was that I need to exercise more patience when dealing with problem customers and employees.

Well you know what? It's hard to exercise patience when people are STUPID. And I've got a serious Type A personality. You can see the two don't mix.

So I tell my boss, "You know that's my personality, right?" and he's like, "Uh, yeah. That's why I only mention this once a year."

LOL! My boss can be a smart man sometimes. :-)

I tried to shake off the crap of the day when I got home by playing with Photoshop and making all new picture strips for the side of my LJ layout. I even included Sam and Jared this time! *g* Go see! agt_spooky agt_spooky

Then to finish the night I watched A Very Supernatural Christmas. That ep never fails to tug at my heart.

Oh, and GIP! GIP! You know that's what's really going through Sammy's head. ;-)

Well, I guess it's time to face the day. Happy Hump Day, all!

I hate that lame "you're pretty high on the pay scale" crap. If I work hard and do my job good, I should be rewarded for it. I worked at one place (a nice big box retail store whose name I won't mention *coughBestBuycough*) I transfered to another department and they wouldn't even give me a raise on my anniversary even though my review score was super high. I was already over the top of the pay scale for the position I transfered to. Stupid corporations.

Oh a good note, love the new pics! What handsome men :-) You should throw in an occasional JDM pic just to stir things up a bit, LOL!

A Very SN Xmas is a great ep... except they make John look like an ass :-( I would love just one flashback where the boys remember something good that John did during their childhood. Just one... please, Mr. Kripke??

That really IS a crap excuse not to give you a good raise. Who cares if you are? If you're good at your work and are doing a good job then shouldn't you be high up in the pay scale? I can never understand how this stuff works, I get the same excuse at work (which is more, "We already pay you slightly more then most part time people.." which.. well I do a lot more?).

And I love the new layout pictures! The one of the two of them is an adorable picture, n'aw.
