It's Monday already?

Wow...okay, can I please have the weekend back? I mean, where did it go? LOL!

First, a big thank you to all of you who participated in my Supernatural Fanfic Poll on Friday. The results were very interesting and confirmed a few things I'd been thinking about, which is why I asked the questions. So, thanks! :-)

I spent a lovely day on Saturday (and I mean ALL day, from 10:30 am til 10:00 pm) with my best buddy, charityflint. We did a bunch of shopping then went out to lunch (Olive Garden - yum!) then relaxed back at my place. We talked and talked, then we watched a DVD my friend June sent me from Sentinel Day at Moonridge animal park last summer. I wasn't able to attend and so missed out on seeing Garett Maggart. But June videotaped the entire event and sent me a copy. And wow, Garett was his amazing, awesome self, so relaxed and funny. It really made me sad to have missed going last year, but it made me definitely make the committment to go to the next one. :-)

We went to dinner afterwards (Chili's - yum!) then back to my place for dessert and to watch the new episode of Torchwood, which left us both shaking our heads! LOL!

I was a bit under the weather on Sunday with some kind of stomach thing, probably from all the food I ate on Saturday. Ugh. Ended up mostly laying around, watching TV and reading fanfic and the next thing I know the day's over and it's Monday already. :-(

I'm kinda nervous today. Friday was my anniversary at work and my boss told me at the end of the day that he'd do my review either today or tomorrow. I mean, I know I don't have anything to worry about, but I just hate going through the process. Why can't they just give me my raise on my next check and that's it? :-)

Sounds like a fairly good weekend, except for the stomach thing Mine was spent on the couch being all ill and mopey, LOL! Some day I'll teach my cats how to make chicken soup and hot tea.

Yep! I got my review last Wednesday and it went well. Got good marks but the usual "you're pretty high on the pay scale" crap so that they can justify barely giving me a cost of living raise. Total nonsense. [sigh]
