Tonight is the first night of Hanukkah, which my husband and I celebrate. I've learned so much about the Jewish faith since marrying him 13 years ago. And I've gotten great at making latkes! :-)

No family to celebrate with this year, so we're not going to make any kind of big feast. Instead, it's dinner out at a restaurant of the hubby's choice. Yum!

One of his gifts is a stained glass dreydel. He collects them and this one is really beautiful. Hope he likes it!

To those of you who are also celebrating tonight, I leave you with this blessing:

Thank you for the icon love! I thought it was gonna be so simple when I started it but man it took a lot of work! I couldn't find stockigs I liked so I had to take a red one and color it green and cut it apart, etc, then I found the mantle and had 9it all together when I was looking at it and trying to figure out why it looked odd and I realized the stockings were just hanging there with no way of being attached! *LOL* So I had to find something for the loops.

As far as the cat clothes - I hear ya, mine won't even wear collars! NUDISTS!

Holy cow, I didn't realize how much work you put into that stocking icon! I thought you'd just found a pic of the stockings like that already and just put their names on it. Man, kudos to you!

My cats are the same way! No collars for them, either. Nudists! LOL!
