( “Few )
It was a bit of a lazy weekend and I was totally fine with that. :-)
I was pretty much a couch potato on Saturday. Got caught up on a bunch of shows on the DVR and then finally got to watch my DVD of Star Trek: Beyond. Love that movie! Then I sat and read for quite awhile, too.
I mentioned before how I’ve lost all control over the new chaise lounge situation with Bean right? I now have to sit with my legs on either side of her, but apparently that’s still not enough room for her as she decided to use me as a pillow… Little stinker. :-)
Today is the hubby’s birthday (HAPPY BIRTHDAY, JOHN!) but we went out to dinner last night, to Joe’s Crab Shack. Yum! John got fish and chips and I got the dungeness crab steam pot. The weather again was so warm out that we nearly sat outside! I had to laugh when we drove home - we passed by a mini golf course that always closes by Labor Day. It was still open and people were out there playing!
When we got home, John suddenly remembered to tell me about a convention he just found out about, called RewindCon (http://www.rewindconvention.com) It’s literally 10 minutes from my house and it’s this coming weekend. It’s chock full of actors and actresses from the 80’s and 90’s. From shows like Melrose Place, 90210, Growing Pains, soap operas and even boy bands like N’Sync and The Backstreet Boys. I nearly fell off my chair when I saw Dale Midkiff (Magnificent Seven), Parker Stevenson (The Hardy Boys) and John J. York (Werewolf) on the list! Needless to say, I couldn’t buy my tickets fast enough! LOL! Can’t wait!
Other than that, John made our Thanksgiving reservations at a new restaurant this year, at a different country club. Hopefully it’s as good as the place we’ve been going the last several years.
So that was my weekend! How was YOURS?
