The curse is broken!

I have to get up for work at 4:45 am, so unfortunately I had to miss the end of the World Series last night because I had to get to bed. I stopped watching just as Cleveland tied it at 6-6 and I was SO mad that the Cubs were most likely going to lose the game. So imagine my surprise when just before MIDNIGHT I’m woken by a zillion fireworks going off in my neighborhood. I knew what it meant and I was stunned!

It wasn’t until I got up this morning and saw the score and the fact that there was a rain delay AND extra innings that I was TRULY stunned! LOL!

I still can’t believe that my Cubs won, that after 108 years the curse is finally broken! They fought so hard and they deserve this!

Needless to say, the city of Chicago pretty much lost their minds last night. I can only imagine what it would’ve been like if the Cubs had won it here instead of Cleveland! Yikes!

I know my grandmother, who was a huge Cubs fan (and turned me into one) is smiling up in heaven. They did it, Grandma! :-)
