The (convention) weekend wrap-up

Ugh. I’m one tired puppy this morning. Why? Because I spent Friday, Saturday and Sunday with my buddy Megan (asyouleft) at the very last Stargate Creation con. It was fun but sad at the same time. I was at the very first one, 12 years ago, and now the last one, with several in between.

They had a good line up of guests: Michael Shanks, Joe Flanigan, David Hewlett, Rainbow Sun Francks, Jewel Staite, Alaina Huffman, Carmen Argenziano, Chris Judge, Dan Payne, David Blue, David DeLuise, David Nykl, Erick Avari, Gary Jones, Jamil Walker Smith, Paul McGillion and Peter Kelamis.

Everyone’s panels were great - funny and entertaining and the only stupid questions asked were, of course, to Michael Shanks. I really feel sorry for the guy, but his responses are always fabulous. Got to spend time chatting with several of the guests at their tables (Rainbow, David Nykl and Dan Payne) which was really nice. I got autographs from Paul, Chris, Jewel and Joe and had good conversations with all of them. I also had photo ops with Michael, Jewel and Chris, plus photos at the tables with Rainbow, David and Dan.
