agt_spooky: (Rainbow ice cream)

It was a busy baking weekend! I tried out two more recipes for my mini bundt cakes - chocolate/peanut butter and lemon/raspberry. YUM! They both turned out great:

I took them into work today to give to my friends for feedback, see if they like them, etc. This coming weekend will be my fourth and final recipe - maple bacon. Personally, not something I would eat, but since bacon continues to be the "hot" food I'll give my (potential) customers what they want.

Besides baking, my main goal this weekend was to get all of my Star Wars toys unpacked and put into my bookshelves. I have guests coming in a few weeks and I wasn't going to have over a dozen boxes sitting in my living room area. It took several hours on Sunday but it's all done!

I also got my costume out for the GRL "time travel" party and I'm glad I got it out early, as my knee-high white socks are missing! Time for a trip to the store after work. My rainbow tie and earrings arrived on Saturday, which will look awesome with my black suit for the "casino" party at GRL.

Surprisingly enough I somehow found the time to sit and finish reading a book and watch three movies, all of which I randomly caught on cable - Superman Returns (yes, I'm probably the only person on the planet who loved this movie and Brandon Routh), the original Footloose and our very own Jared Padalecki's film Cry Wolf. I even scored John and I a Groupon deal to our favorite French restaurant that we're going to go to for his birthday in November.

All in all it was a heck of a productive weekend! How was YOURS?
