The fall TV schedule begins!

So today kicks off the new fall TV lineup. While I was programming my DVR with all the new shows I want to check out I was wondering what all of you were looking forward to watching.

Here are my new ones:

Watching Z Nation, even though the dialogue is kind of stupid. Also,The Strain, because epidemiologists don't get enough love.

I'm looking forward to Gotham tonight. I hope the show gets great ratings.
I might give The Flash a try and How to Get Away with Murder looks great.

I watched Gotham last night. I give it a B+ I wasn't blown away by it. Though I do really like Jim, Bruce and Alfred. I'll give it another couple weeks then decide if I'll continue to watch.

I'm really looking forward to both The Flash and Murder.

I haven't watched the pilot yet, but Gotham is also on my list, just like Constantine. These are the only new shows I'm going to watch for now. How to Get Away with Murder sounds interesting, but I'll wait for some reactions first.
NCIS: New Orleans already has a German broadcaster, so I'll watch it once it airs here. They actually advertised the two back-door pilot episodes as NCIS: New Orleans and aired a "coming in 2015" afterwards :D

I give Gotham a solid B+. I wasn’t overwhelmed by it, based on all the hype it’s been getting. I do really like Jim, Bruce and Alfred, though. But since Bruce is just a kid, I wonder how much he’ll actually be in the show. And the guy playing The Penguin totally creeped me out! LOL!

Now NCIS I loved. Gosh, I wonder why! LOL!

I loved Gotham, I think it has a lot of potential. The whole look creates such a nice comic book-feel which fits perfectly to Batman. It'll probably more of a procedural and an overall arc about the murder, at least focus more on Jim (who I also really like). I doubt Bruce will be in it a lot. Apparently The Penguin already turned into a fan favorite. He's too creepy for me to call him a favorite.

Oh yeah, Gotham has huge potential for sure. And yes, kudos to the art department for the great atmosphere they've created. It's in the comic book style but not cartoony. Very realistic and gritty. Oh man, while I think the Penguin is interesting, no, I'm with you, he's not exactly a favorite of mine! Too bizarre!

We watched Gotham last night. Casey really liked it, except for the corruption in the PD. I liked it but not as much as he did.

We're looking forward to watching NCIS: New Orleans and Gracepoint.

Now NOLA I loved! Gosh, I wonder why. ;-) As for Gracepoint, I’m thrilled David Tennant is in it and they’ve promised to change the ending and have a different killer than the UK version. But honestly, I don’t know how they could pick a more shocking killer than the original, so we’ll see.

I haven't seen the original Gracepoint, so I'm probably lucky there!

I wasn't that thrilled with Gotham, but I think it's because my favorite character has always been Dick Grayson/Robin/Nightwing so I know I'm never going to see him. Penguin creeped me out too.

I'll be honest, I like the old school, very proper Alfred, but I know that the Michael Cain Cockney Alfred is popular now, so I'll have to get used to it. I love that he's Sean Pertwee, anyway.

It looks like they're going to have to age some of the villains if they want to put them in this one. And they're obviously changing some origin stories. That will be interesting.

We didn't see NCIS:NOLA because our reception was bad. We'll try to catch it next week though!

OMG, the original was amazing. I can’t imagine how they’re going to come up with a different killer and make it as impactful. I’ve seen commercials and David sounds so weird with an American accent!

I wasn't that thrilled with Gotham,

I’d still rather have Almost Human on Monday with Sleepy Hollow. [sigh] I liked the pilot of Gotham well enough, but it didn’t grab me the way AH did. I’ll give Gotham another week or two before I decide if I’ll keep it or dump it. I do really like Jim, Bruce and Alfred, though.

I really hope The Flash is good since it's gotten so much hype. And Constantine sounds great but after hearing they already wrote out the gal who was supposed to be the main female character and replaced her with a different character I'm hoping that it doesn't spell trouble before it's even aired! And is it just me or does he look like a blond Castiel? :-)

Loved it! I know it’s nothing new and groundbreaking (see New Amsterdamn) but it’s Ioan. Need I say more? :-) But I do really like the sub plot of the guy stalking him.

How to Get Away With Murder--yes--Viola Davis ROCKS this show,

I love the concept of this show a lot, but right now none of the characters are likable to me. Especially Viola! LOL! But like with Gotham I’ll give it another couple weeks.

The Flash--will watch because of John Shipp, the 80's Flash.
