Spent a lovely evening last night with my best buddy,
charityflint. I'm leaving for Colorado in just two days (WOOT!) so we wanted to have a playdate before I left. :-)
The hubby usually goes out to dinner with us whenever Charity comes over, but he had a craving for Taco Bell yesterday, so I stopped on my way home and picked up the bean burritos that he loves (yuck!). Charity was already at the house when I got there and her face lights up when she sees the Taco Bell bag. Next thing I know, she's asking if that's where
we can go to dinner! I'm like, really? Tacos? She's like, yeah, and then can we go to Dairy Queen for dessert? You'd think I was going to dinner with a little kid! LOL!
But off we went to Taco Bell, where we got stuck in the restaurant as the skies just opened up and rained cats and dogs down on us for like, 15 minutes. It was crazy, it was raining so hard!
After dinner we went across the street to the mall, where a new glow-in-the-dark mini golf place had just opened up that we wanted to try. It wasn't a very challenging course, as there wasn't much room in the storefront where it was, but we still had a great time.
We were almost done, heading to hole 15, when we walk around the corner and come face to face with -
STONEHENGE! Hole 15 was a mini glow-in-the-dark Stonehenge! Needless to say, I laughed myself silly, yelling out "MISHA! MISHA!" I mean, seriously, WHAT are the chances that I'd come across something to do with Stonehenge three days after that movie?? ROTFL!
So of course Charity had to snap a pic of me...

I bet you're asking yourself, who won the game? *g* Well let me show you! We played two games and I was Sammy in the first game and Jensen in the second game:

And I was victorious in both games! I told Charity it's because Jensen's a real golfer. ;-)
Then we went to Dairy Queen where Charity got a Blizzard and I got a chocolate malt. We took our ice cream back to my house where we ate and talked and watched some TV for the next several hours.
This has just been a horrible month, with too many people I know dying, so it was nice to take my mind off of that for just a little while last night and laugh and smile. :-)
