It's 7:30 am, I'm alone in the office and I've got Thunderstruck blasting on repeat. :-)

Be back later with a ratings post and a full review of Sympathy for the Devil, but yeah, it pretty much ROCKED MY SOCKS. *bg*

Hey folks!

Here's an excellent new interview from the ChicagoTribune.com with Eric Kripke and Jim Beaver, talking about how the events of Sympathy for the Devil will impact Bobby going forward.

Oh, at the end of the article is pictures and a description of episode 5x03. If you're wanting to avoid that, I've only put the text of Jim's interview under the cut.

Enjoy!

It's our fifth year of Supernatural and our fifth style of opening credits, and as I watched last night it got me thinking which of them has been my favorite.

And strangely enough, even though I HATED season three with a firey passion, it's opening credits is my favorite.

What about you? Which do you like?

It's that time again, folks! Our fellow fangirl, Tina Charles, from TVGuide.com is back on the job this season, reviewing each episode of Supernatural. Woot!

Since she always sums up the episodes so much better than I could ever do, I'll let her speak for me once again...

Angels. Nice change up to the mythology, by the way. The demon stuff was getting kind of old. )

Once again I'd like to thank everyone who entered the contest and all of you who took the time to vote for your favorite caption. :-)

Voting is now CLOSED and we have a winner! And boy, it was a close race this week!

A big round of applause for [livejournal.com profile] blogbunneh for her very funny caption:

"Woah, sweetie! Let's just stop with the story right there, shall we?

Well, folks, that concludes the Supernatural Caption Contest for the summer. It's been a great six weeks and I'm thrilled all of you had so much fun with it. :-) The contest will return during SPN's winter hiatus break to get us through all those weeks of repeats. Again, thank you all for playing!

From Marc Berman at the Programming Insider:

Vampire Diaries - 4.91 million
Supernatural - 3.39 million
America's Next Top Model - 3.24 million
90210 - 2.44 million
Melrose Place - 2.31 million
One Tree Hill (repeat) - 1.13 milion
Gossip Girl (repeat) - 858,000

Holy cow, I never expected Vampire Diaries to pull those kinds of numbers!

Marc gave Supernatural a "disappointing" review, as retention out of Vampire Diaries was only 67%, and last year's season premiere drew 3.96 million. Personally, I don't think VD is a good lead-in for Supernatural. I think Smallville was more compatable.

Once Smallville gets started (Sept. 25) I'll be updating the ratings on Monday to reflect where SV falls in the ratings list.

Well, I may not have gotten my money back yet from Creation for their double charge to my credit card, but I DID get my Gold tickets emailed to me this morning. And they ARE the seats that I chose to upgrade to.

This was my second concern after trying to get my refund, that they'd screw up my seats.

They've never done this before, send out pdfs of the tickets. Of course this is AFTER we all paid shipping charges. Think they'll refund us the $7.95? Hell, no! This is money-hungry Creation, after all.

My credit card company told me it could take up to 90 DAYS for me to go through the dispute process and get my money back. I'm so stressed over this I want to just sit in a corner and cry. I NEED that $1,050 taken off my card!!

Creation can KISS MY ASS if they think I'll EVER attend another event after the two I've unfortunately already paid for. And I encourage more of you to speak out who've gone through the same thing I'm going through, so that others know how Creation treats their customers - like CRAP.
