Hey folks,

Here's a new interview with Jared at Sci Fi Wire. I suppose you could consider a bit of it a spoiler if you haven't seen No Rest for the Wicked.

Here's what the boy has to say... )

Over at ShockTilYouDrop.com, Jared, on the set of Friday the 13th, has this to say about his buddy, Jensen:

On the leading man tip, Supernatural's Jared Padalecki (also of House of Wax) drops the Winchester surname to play Clay, a knife-totin', motorcycle-riding fella searching for his sister who has gone missing in the Crystal Lake area.

Elsewhere, Padalecki's Supernatural co-star, Jensen Ackles, is off breaking hearts with Harry Warden in Lionsgate's My Bloody Valentine remake. Padalecki, sitting by our side watching video playback with the producers, recognizes he's got the better end of the deal. "Jensen's in Pennsylvania now. I totally get the cooler bad guy [to fight]. He's doing 3-D so all of his imperfections will be hard to ignore," he laughs. "All of his imperfections, I don't want to sound like... I'm saying if I was in 3-D I'd be much more worried, but here I am on a flat screen, I get to hide easy."

Oh, Jared! God, I love your awesome friendship with Jensen. :-) I hope we get to hear what Jensen has to say about his "imperfections". Ha!

Wow, was my weekend crap. I was unable to get more than a couple hours sleep on Friday, Saturday OR Sunday nights, leaving me like a zombie during the day. I don't know what's causing my insomnia, but it needs to stop!! And how come whenever I'm not feeling well and not on the computer for the weekend, there's an SPN con going on and I miss everything. [sigh] Looks like I'll have to head on over to Supernatural Wiki to get caught up. But yes, I do know the news about Jared and Sandy and it's not something I'm going to discuss here. I feel badly for both of them. I do think it is SO sweet that Jensen's family was at the con to see Jared, though. Awww!

Speaking of Jensen, it was one year ago today that myself and [livejournal.com profile] charityflint were in Fort Worth to see Jensen in A Few Good Men.

It's hard to believe that I was sitting there in the theater with Jensen just a few feet away from me. He was simply AMAZING as Lt. Kaffee and simply breathtaking in person. :-)

Here was the short (and very dark!) video I took at the backstage door after getting to meet him and get an autograph:

That spontaneous trip down to Texas is something I'll never forget. It was a fantastic experience and I truly hope Jensen does more theater in the future, because I know I'll be first in line to buy tickets!
